Simple food, well done.

My husband and I were a bit unsure about this restaurant from the outside. It is an Italian\Mexican restaurant, which seems an odd combination. We had a wonderful lunch here. We ordered from the two course early bird menu (€10) which had a nice selection, something for everyone. The food was great, very reasonably priced and the service was excellent. The waiter was a very friendly gentleman who welcomed us warmly and took good care of us. We look forward to returning!

My wife and I ate here. Menu choice is reasonable but food was very bland and tasteless. Very few in here on night we ate. Plenty of cheap dishes but I guess you get what you pay for. Even though it was very quiet service was just ok. Wouldn't rush back.

I have been to KilKenny several times and I am always eager to go back to my favorite restaurant. Lovely little restaurant tucked away near the water. The early bird is great value, excellent food. I recently tried other dishes on the regular menu and they were fabulous. On my last trip my husband and I went 3 times, every... More

Value is outstanding. Two course early bird for €10. Sure you couldn't go wrong. Waitress was nice and friendly. Pasta dish I ordered had loads of it which was just delicious. I will be back again. Even menu looks great even tho I didn't have it so next time I'm down I'll be in to try it out

My girlfriend and I have been there on a number of occasions just because of the value. The hospitality is not very good to be honest. Every time we went to the restaurant it was for early bird. We normally prefer to book in advance just to make sure we have a table inside the restaurant (they also have tables... More

This is one of my favourite places in town. However the last two times I have been there the place has been busy and there was only one waiter working. He seemed very under pressure and this took away from enjoying the meal.

The waiter, I think his name was Flori, was great! Very funny, helpful and friendly. Food was excellent, the pizza was amazing! We visited a couple of times during our stay in Kilkenny. I love my girlfriend so much, she brought me to Kilkenny as a birthday present and it was best time ever. It was just a great experience... More

This place is good if you're loooking for something cheap and cheerful. Early bird is great value. Certainly not the best food in Kilkenny but I've always been happy with what I've got and for the price, you can't go wrong.

Ate here for the early bird menu of 2 courses for €10.95. The restaurant is advertised as Italian but the upstairs, where we were seated was decorated as if it was a North African casbah along with Christmas lights that had not been removed. It was August. Up another flight of stairs, decorated in mexican style, are the toilets (shockingly... More
