Visited here after reading the reviews for a good steak place in Kilkenny. Had the early dinner 2 course, with Caesar salad & then rather than the steak, the lamb shank! It was delicious with crisp non-greasy home cooked chips! A very nice meal & friendly staff. Would recommend!

Because they are new to vegetarism and the place looks inviting... Should't have though. I was not to be seated by the window, so no view. Only the tacky plastic plants to admire. Had tomato and pepper soup, that tasted like it came from a can. Veggie stir fry was okay, had a lot of oyster sauce in it. And... More

The restaurant is on the upper level and overlooks Kieran St and Butterslip Lane with large windows. It has a good selection of steaks as well as other selections. It's a great dinner restaurant.

A big group of us (12-14 people) go to The Cat Laughs comedy festival every year. We've eaten here a few times as a large group. We normally go for the early bird which is good value. Almost everyone had either wings or nachos to start. Nachos were amazing! For the main we all either had chicken cashew nut stir... More

Steaks were great - slightly overcooked, but pretty good (we always ask for medium). We also had an entree of chicken wings, which were very tasty. Staff were nice but not overly friendly. Food is not cheap, but if you're craving a steak like we were, it's ok!

We had a table booked in advance, we were greeted and seated very quickly by a male member of staff. We ordered our food and very quickly our 3 courses were bought out with no waiting. The food was beautiful and it went down a treat even with few bottles of Coors. It was a lovely meal.

Very disappointed by the meal. The starter of chicken wings was nothing more than crisped wings with some sweet chilli Thai sauce squirted on served with 2 very sad lettuce leaves and that was it ! The ribeye was over priced severely though cooked ok served with wayyyyyyy too many diced boiled mushrooms - yuk and onions equally diced and... More

We ate here on Easter sunday and it wasn't too busy so we were seated immediately. We had two steak dinners and a starter. The duck spring rolls are lovely and our two fillet steaks were delicious, ome of the nicest steaks I've ever tasted! Price is what is expected for a steakhouse but you won't leave hungry. Would definitely... More
