The Grapevine Tapas restaurant is located just up from John's Bridge. Inside it is really comfortable with nice relaxing music. I found the window seats were a nice place to sit. The Menu is nice with plenty to suit everyone and we chose potato bravas, the battered fish, hummus and the ribs. I would recommend the hummus (although I would... More

This is a great restaurant for a light snack or dinner. The menu is extensive and has all the usual favourites on it ! The quality of the food was exceptional and the service was attentive and made our visit really enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place !

This restaurant we were brought to was fantastic. We ordered from a fairly extensive menu and it didn't let us down A taste of everything with prices fairly reasonable. The staff were professional and courteous. A maximum 2 hour stay is allowed for customers and its advisable to book on time.

We ate here last night, sharing tapas for two and a nice bottle of wine. The food was very good, nothing extraordinary but nice tapas well cooked and well presented. The interior of the restaurant is nicely set, with private and comfortable tables and the dim lighting and candlelight makes for a good ambience. The staff were friendly and helpful,... More

We ordered a selection of dishes, patats bravas, meatballs, chicke skewers, lamb stew, squid, prawns, Each of them was just average, nothing wrong with any of them but they just lacked any sort of special flavour. I was very disappointed especially with so many good reviews on here. The interior of restaurant was nice and cosy though with comfy couch... More

Booked last minute, no problem to squeeze us in. Said it would be a table at the back which turned out to be lovely, spacious and romantic with beautiful scenery and lights. Food was served quickly - you can see the kitchen for yourself upstairs and tell it's mostly cooked fresh. Set menu for €49 is well worth it. 5... More

We visited early on a Saturday evening and so had no problem with the service, unlike some recent reviewers. The selection of tapas that we chose were freshly prepared and flavoursome - the patatas bravas had a great sauce and the hummus was GREAT :-) . During our trip we had also been to Lautrec which was also good, but... More

Visited this Tapas bar last weekend in Kilkenny and we were delighted we stopped in! They have a special of 5 tapas, 2 deserts and a bottle of house red for 49euro from Sunday to Thursday! Be sure not to miss out on this as it is great value! There is a great selection including some unusual tapas dishes such... More
