Cozy Place, good Food, Nice Staff

We visited this place for an aperitif and we ended up staying for dinner as well. We tried 5 different dishes, excellent service, fresh simple tasty food. Only disappointment THE CHEESE PLATE IS RIDICULOUSLY SMALL AND TOO EXPENSIVE.

Pulled in here a couple of times in the afternoon for quick bite to eat. Tapas reasonably priced and fine if you want small-plate stuff. Service very good both times despite large groups at other tables. Fair number of wines - number of beers available, although only San Miguel (the OTHER "official beer" of Spain's Camino de Santiago) on tap.... More

Very friendly and accommodating staff. We were a party of 17 and they seated us as a group at the front. We were able to order almost everything on the menu and were not disappointed with any dish. Everything was delicious and a fun sharing experience. The entire group had a great time and ate great tapas!!

Went here during the cat laughs festival not knowing what to expect. Big fan of tapas eating and this restaurant did not let us down. We had 4 dishes, each one just as yummy as the next. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Really enjoyed our meal there, delicious!

We visited The Grapevine last week for the first time. The menu is quite varied and there is definitely something for everyone. Very good value. Try the hummus!

Visited the Grapevine for a late night light dinner while walking around Kilkenny. The restaurant is really quaint and welcoming with nice seating. You could either choose love seats with tables to sit at or regular tables and chairs. The atmosphere is very relaxed you could stay and enjoy yourself as long as you pleased. The menu had a simple... More

I'm a fan of tapas so had to try this place. I had actually picked out The Salt Yard but they close Mondays and Tuesdays so The Grapevine got our business instead and we weren't disappointed. The waitress here was so charming and really nice. She was friendly without being intrusive. We sat on the low sofa seats at the... More
