We stopped in the marble as we regularly would. The full house did not detract from the prompt and friendly service. The food came quickly and was as usual first class. The staff were buzzing and we finished off with a couple drinks! Good night by any standards.

Saw the sign for multiple awards for best gastro pub therefore naturally assumed food was going to be good. Ordered from the menu and food was served relatively quick. Quality of food was average. We decided to order desert and tea given that this place was renowned as a tea room also. However the waiters took a while to even... More

My wife and I used be big fans of this place, and it's also close to work so we used nip down here on a Friday evening every now and then. Not any more I'm afraid. This place has being going downhill rapidly. It started with the menu being replaced and pared down to half of what is used to... More

Nice food and reasonably priced. A good place to eat if you're eating alone, like I was. Very central location. Popular place so a bit cramped when busy.

Had a great meal here and really enjoyed the atomosphere! Our waiter was a bit lacking in service but likely due to the busy-ness of the restaurant. I would recommend a visit !

This was a return visit. We had ate here last year during the Springsteen concerts and enjoyed the food and buzz. We arrived just after 8pm on a Tuesday evening of the Arts festival week. The downstairs area was busy and we managed to get a table as another couple left. Waitress was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Service was... More

The duck confit in a spring roll was first rate, the coq au vin really tasty. And at €21 for the two courses not a bad price. Marble City Bar is well located right on the main street. It is gained some awards and is definitely worth a try.

I went here last Sunday. The place was quite dark and crowded - nice for a pub, but it got a bit noisy for Sunday lunch. I ordered the main dish version of the goats cheese and beetroot salad, which was nice, but not very well balanced - too much beetroot, not many greens. Was definitely more of a side... More

Love the food here, great choices on the menu, nice atmosphere and friendly staff, it has a large projector screen so you can watch the sports. 😄.
