Kyteler's Inn is in the old home of Dame Alice, the infamous witch of Kilkenny. You will hear a lot about when you visit Kilkenny and this is where she lived! The bar is fun, crowded and busy. We chose to have lunch here. Our table was in a very crowded area and the between the servers trying to move... More

This place just seems to have a great atmosphere every night! Heard some of the best live music I've heard in pubs around Ireland in years in here - both folk and rock! Locals mix comfortably with tourists and everyone is just having a good time!A definite 'must visit' in Kilkenny

This pub was recommended by a local, during the light dinner we had. The place was packed with locals and the band that played there got the entire house, practically, dancing and singing. Atmosphere was fantastic. We bought a CD from the band and played it time and again throughout our trip. Wonderfull experience

Went there on a Sunday night with the kids for the 6pm live music session and dinner. It was the first time for our teens to enjoy a real Irish pub and I could not have imagined a better introduction. The live music was traditional, the pub as well, the staff extremely friendly and at the end we were lucky... More

The service was fantastic, the food was good and the music was outstanding. The staff were very attentive and make you feel very welcome within their establishment. This is a must see place if you're ever in Kilkenny.

We went here for the music and decided to eat while we were waiting. The food is good, not great but good, although I thought the fries were great. Really cool setting, the pub has been around for ever. Music was excellent, two guys on banjo and guitar, with some mandolin, pipe and drum added in. Don't miss it.

A nice pub with a medieval atmosphere. We experienced a nice play-with one-man music show. Overall a great setting and better than just eating. The food is not such great with a very limited variety and a ready made taste. The beer selection is more in focus here for a good reason.
