Average bar nothing special, smell of bleach while sitting at the bar. Bathroom style not in line with the rest of the bar.

Went for lunch with my mother on a Saturday afternoon. Very busy on the day but that didn't take from the experience. Great service waited about 1min while a member of staff found us a table. Loads of tv's on with racing and football etc. but you wouldn't know it could have lunch with lots of chit chatting people and... More

On our way home from Cork we decided to stop in Kilkenny for a bit of dinner and a pint! Ordered a pint of Kilkenny and some good old hearty pub grub. The pint was the best I've ever had and the food was amazing!!! Be sure to try the bangers and mash and note it's a huge portion. Thanks... More

A grand place for a couple of pints at lunchtime - Kytelers Inn has so much history in the building combined with a very welcoming atmosphere, really friendly service and a good pint - what is there not to like ?? Certainly recommend.

We were looking for an early lunch because we need to leave Kilkenny by 1:00pm. Most establishments do no serve lunch until 12:00 but Kyteler's said they would serve soups and sandwiches early. Excellent! The cream of vegetable soup was one of the best I've had. A warm and cozy log fire made this a wonderful stop.

Have eaten and had a drink here many times. It also has a great beer garden. Always busy which is a good sign. I don't think many tourists visit Kilkenny without visiting Kyteler's Inn whether it's for a bite to eat or a night out or even both. Plenty of history attached to the building itself so definitely worth a... More
