Good food & entertainment

We read a review in Rick Steve's Ireland 2015 & decided to try it. The food was good . The trad Irish music included Bhodrun lessons! I got to participate & had a great time. The wait staff was friendly. A great evening!

First things first, the live music being played as we walked in what great and kept us going throughout our dinner (which was good). I was really hoping this place was not going to be extremely touristy, but unfortunately that was not the case. I would be lying if I called this place "authentic Irish", as it felt more like... This pub was recommended by the proprietors of Butler Court of authentic irish music - and we are so happy they did! The food is phenomenal. The service spectacular. The music - sensational. There's a great story about Kyteler's Inn. Worth visiting to atleast hear about it. Dame Alice Kyteler had a pretty colorful past.

This place does well with tourists and locals alike because the manager works within the business and knows what's going on. From your welcome on arrival ( which is rare in Ireland now) to your goodbye on departure, he sees all that's going on and accommodates accordingly. Everyone here works honest and hard. They deserve the business. Simple as that.

We visited here tonight after not such a good start to Ireland, after getting off the plane to find one of our bags was missing...over 12 hours later and still no word of where it is. Anyhow we asked our reception where we could go to hear live Irish music, she suggested this incredible pub...tonight they had a couple of... More

Great atmosphere pub with traditional falvour and regular music and singers. Firtst went here in early 12980's andd not a lot has changed since. Very popular tourst spot without being swamped. Not often you will drink in an Old witches Kitchen and survieve ....
