The food is brought out not long after ordering which i find to be both good and bad as to me it seems that its not cooked fresh sometimes but other than that the food is nice and the service is very good with polite and attentive staff.

The pub is very cosy and the best if you want to swallow a local beer listening Irish music or simply chatting. It's hystorical and nobody could miss to visit it being at Kilkenny! The food is good too, the price on average.

The best Irish Stew we had in Ireland! Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. Great beers on tap. Fast and good service too. Absolutely highly recommended. Sadly we were there in the daytime, so no music but I'm sure at night its lively! A MUST visit in Kilkenny

Three of us had early evening dinner and it was absolutely superb. I had two visiting American ladies, with me, who wanted 'Irish Fare'; and they were not disappointed. Great food; very reasonable prices; fantastic, friendly, helpful staff.

We called into Kytelers for a quick Pint and stayed for the Food and Music, The Steak was one of the best so far, Done to perfection and smothered in Onions and Mushrooms as ordered,The Music was about to start so we stayed and really enjoyed ourselves, One of the best times we've had in ages

perfect place to have lunch and a beverage right in the middle of all the shops and in walking distance of Kilkenny Castle. Nice covered courtyard around back.

sat on the first floor and had the Chicken and Ham Vol au Vent. Yummy. Place has great atmosphere and if you can't eat there for dinner - lunch was great.

Our first night on the Emerald Isle, so a good first impression was sought. On the recommendation of our B&B we headed to Kyteler's for some grub and a pint. The Irish lamb stew was hearty and delicious! The atmosphere was lovely, and the wait staff friendly and accommodating. Food game out very fast.

Good food and drinks. Tolerant staff who let me hang out for six hours in the basement by the fire writing and sipping beer.
