Good dining experience

We had our wedding anniversary meal here. Top service, fine food and nice atmosphere. Worth a visit. Sadly the vegetarian options are a little limited and it would be good to see a few more.

There are many stunning positive reviews about this restaurant so I am hoping it was just my meal that was not up to par. I had pasta Bolognese as a main course and expected the meaty, buttery sauce I have eaten hundreds of times before as Bolognese sauce was my aunt's specialty. Unfortunately the pasta came with just a hint... More

First this is not a $$. It is more a $$$ unless you only order a main dish. No drinks, nor anything else. But Yes, you can have a good Italian meal in an Irish medieval city! Definitely needed a change of pace from pub food. Recommended by the hotel staff at Pembroke and Trip Advisor we gave it a... More

This restaurant has the potential to make you feel under dressed and awkward as it is such a fantastic fine dining experience. But everything from the smiling and accommodating staff to the buzzing atmosphere, it was the perfect choice. The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable, will defiantly return.

My wife and I ate here after taking a recommendation from the bartender, Liam, at Dylan's whiskey bar. What can I say everything here was great, service, atmosphere and especially the food. My wife had the minestrone soup and I had the bruschetta both were fantastic. For dinner my wife had the lasagna and I had the braised rib risotto,... More

This is a beautiful Italian restaurant. It is fine white table cloth dining and the food is simply delicious. We had a late lunch, following a concert at 1:00 P.M. They explained that they closed at 2:30 and we only arrived at 2:20 p.m. However, we were not rushed. I enjoyed a beautiful paté to start, followed by Beef on... More

I have enjoyed and endured many Italian restaurants over the years, but never one as good as Rinuccini. The atmosphere is delightful, the staff are of the highest quality, the food more than worthy of the many national and international awards which adorn the walls of the entrance. The wine list is both comprehensive and varied in range. Don't miss... More

This Italian restaurant could easily be overlooked as it is so close to Kilkenny Castle that you might think it could be a tourist trap. Nothing could be further from the truth. Evidence of how good it is, is how quickly it gets booked out, and many locals frequent it. White tablecloths and bottles of wine decanted should you so... More
