We ate here recently. The service was fantastic and very professional. The food was 'to die for'. I had the scallops to start, very tasty, simple, quaint presentation. For main i had the fish. It was the best haddock i have ever tasted, really outstanding. Dessert was equally delicious. The restaurant is very cosy and nicely decorated. Really cant wait... More

We asked our hotel (Butler House) to make our reservations about a month before arriving and I am ever glad we did this. The restaurant is smaller and more intimate, the staff were well trained and very professional. The food was high end Italian food and fabulous. The waiter made several recommendations and everything from his selection of wine to... More

This place does the business consistently! Excellent food and service in a fine dining environment. Although I usually go for something less formal, this was a real treat. The starter of scallops was great with the flavour of the food shining through and the mains of spaghetti with prawns and chilli was also spot on and thoroughly enjoyable! Good strong... More

This is the best Italian restaurant in Kilkenny. I wouldn't say it's the best Italian I've ever had but it's a very good attempt. What's best is the fact that it does stray from the typical Italian dishes opening it up to those who mightn't be mad for a typical pasta dish. Their wines are very impressive but that's a... More

Dined here with a group of friends on a day out in Kilkenny. Lovely restaurant and warm relaxing atmosphere. We chose from their lunch menu priced at €28 for 3 course. I had lovely smoked salmon starter which was so tasty! Mains was the chicken fillet with mushroom cream sauce with scrumptious spicy potatoes &veg on side. Dessert was a... More

This is the best Italian restaurant we've eaten in, outside of Italy. It was so good we went back two nights in a row.

We dined at Rinuccini last night, and we had a rather lovely meal apart from my main course which was Gamberoni Rinuccini. The moment I tasted them, I knew they were not prawns, but langustines (also called Dublin Bay prawns; "scampi" in italian). Now, many irish people (including a few fishmongers) do not know the difference. Their flesh is completely... More

Dined here with my mum during the Arts Festival. The restaurant was busy but the very friendly waitress asked us to pop next door for a drink which we did. The food and service, as always, did not disappoint. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Lovely atmosphere.

We had a delightful dinner at Rinuccini. The restaurant has a great location - across from the Kilkenny Castle. The pastas were homemade and the service attentive. We were fortunate to meet one the family members who owned the restaurant. We recommend, but you should make a reservation because the restaurant is very popular.
