Little did I know 12 years ago when I first dined at Ristorante Rinuccini that I would find the most delicious spaghetti and meatballs in a restaurant in Kilkenny, Ireland. But, that is exactly what happened. I have made 3 additional trips to Ireland since then and each time have been able to enjoy the same top quality dinner. The... More

The menu looked good, prices a little high. We ordered and my food was so salty I couldn't eat it so I said so. They didn't take it off the bill even though I didn't eat it. I had to ask for the manager. He didn't apologise but request I pay full price. I refused and an amended bill was... More

Very nice Italian in a great location. It was quite busy the night we went, so booking may be a good idea. The choice is extensive and though it is not cheap, it is absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend it.

From the minute you enter you receive a warm welcome and I was impressed by the feel of quality in every aspect of the experience. The service was excellent, the menu varied and the quality of the food was very good. The house wine was also very good although I felt slightly overpriced. All in all we enjoyed our first... More

We had noticed this restaurant on previous visits but had never booked. What a mistake to make. Service, food and wine were all superb and the dining room was full with in minutes of our booking time 7pm. It was so good that we booked for the next evening and I will make sure that we go again. Another excellent meal on a visit to Kilkenny. Good atmosphere, fairly full and kids enjoyed half portions off main menu. Quality of food and wine was very very good over the variety of dishes we had. Have been three over four times in the last couple of years and had a great experience every time.

Nice restaurant. Well known in Kilkenny with excellent staff who are all very well trained. Pasta I had was fine, duck went down ok, black sole and fillet steak were the triumphs on the table but came with heavy price tags. Decent house red. Enjoyable night.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of Italian cuisine. The best Italian food in Ireland is sold in take away chip shops. Restorante Rinuccini has a wonderful reputation and that's it's problem. From the moment I sat down I had this strange feeling that I should feel privileged to be there in the first place. Everything was O.T.T. Maybe... More
