Imagine going to an Italian and ordering rack of lamb - well this is what I done and couldn't believe how good it was. This was easily as good as the Connemara lamb I had once in Clifden which I thought couldn't be beat. Cooked rare as I like it with really nice veg and potatoes. My wife had seafood... More

Let’s face it. It’s really difficult to get great value and good food at the same time. Bella Bia comes as close as possible. The early bird menu has a good selection of the usual fare; the quality of the food is good but the price is really excellent. The owners and staff are to be commended for their hard... More

We went for the early bird 3 course meal. Very good deal. The owners waited on us. We had a nice talk about travel. The food was very well made. Fresh. Well presented. Good portions. A lot of choices in the fixed price offerings.

Went here recently for the early bird menu as we were told it was great food and great value to boot so we had to give it a go. Upon entering the restaurant the place was busy and was to get a lot busier. We got the main course which I can describe as average. The old saying you get what... More

Each time I travel from Clare to a Kerry to visit my friend, we eat in Bella Bia. Absolutely delicious, every time. Great staff and Fantastic value.. But be warned you should book in advance as it is very busy, always a great sign for a restaurant.

Ordered lamb rack, one of the best in my life. The gravy was smooth and tasty. My husband ordered steak and it was better than many he's had in Brazil or Argentina, it was juicy and tender. The place was full, but the waitress did their best. It's worth waiting. You won't regret You'd better make a reservation.

Food not bad good service. Would go back for a second time. Could be bit overcrowded but it depends on a day.

I ate here recently with a couple of friends. I ordered the lasagne. It was the most miserable meanest portion I have ever seen. I think my cat would have still been hungry after it. Neither did we find the staff too friendly. I would be slow to go here again to eat.

Coming from New York City, I never expected to get outstanding Italian food in Ireland. I was pleasantly surprised, not only with the food but with the service. It's a lively restaurant, the kind you can hang out all night in. The owner's come around and talk to all the customers and we found out that they come to the... More

I ate here tonight with my Mom and sister and we all opted for the set menu which is amazing value at 13.90 for two courses and a 7up included. I had the Garlic Mushrooms to start which were very tasty, followed by the Lasagne. The portions were good, the only thing I would say is with a big bowl... More
