This little pub/restaurant was highly recommended to us so on that strength we decided to give it a try. A bit hesitant when i saw the outside, but my goodness what a transformation inside. Beautiful setting in the corner of the main street, people queuing to get in at 6pm, we had reserved a table and a good job we... More

I had the best duck that I have had in a long time. My husband had a delicious lamb shank.. There is a pub there, but next door in a very nice and quiet atmosphere they have the restaurant with great service also.

We decided to eat here on a busy night after not being able to get a table at other restaurants. Dinner was ok. So for a simple meal there is no reason to stay away just don't expect above average quality. Lamb shank was a bit bland and the Fajitas were spiced too much. To recognize any of the basic... More

This was the second pub on our tour's "pub crawl." The Laurels was noisy and crowded, just what you would expect from an Irish pub. It was obviously a place for the whole family, as my wife talked to a couple there with their three daughters. Two were teenagers, but the third was much younger. As it turned out, the... More

We ate at The Laurels twice while in Killarney. Again, we were steered to this wonderful pub by our hosts at the Sika Lodge B&B. We were not disappointed: the food was great, the beverages were plenty and the company of those who were in the pub those evenings was memorable. Try it.

Most of our meals up to this point were with our "tour". This was a refreshing change of local fare. Friendly staff, food good, pleasant atmosphere. The Monk Fish was excellent, Lamb Stew delicious and the Seafood Medley good. A great choice of local flavor.!

Having left Quinlin's Fish across the street after dinner, here was this Pub that called out to me to come and have a Guinness.. A great choice with the well seasoned barkeeps and the light chat with fellow tourists. A most pleasant experience. My wife and I returned the next night to the restaurant to have a very light dinner... More

After hiking in the national park all day, this homey pub was a surprise find. We walked around town and nothing was jumping out to us, when two old ladies (locals) told us to eat here. We were pleasantly surprised to find many locals inside watching a soccer game, and enjoying some beer. We had tasty food and the seafood... More

We sat at the bar for dinner one night. The two weathered bar tenders were fun to watch and occasionally hear their words of wisdom or snarky remarks. We had traditional fish and chips and Guiness. The food was plentiful and delicious. a crisp crust to the fish and the fries were hand cut and salty enough. We could linger... More
