What a fabulous meal we had in Quinlan's restaurant recently. Upon entering the premises, you can see how spotlessly clean the place is. Very modern, minimalist surroundings with super efficient staff. I had the catch of the day which was John Dory and beautifully pan fired it was too. My chips were cooked to crunchy, heavenly perfection. My husband had... More

November, raining, hungry at 5pm trying to find anywhere open....Fish and Chips sit-in pot of tea cannot beat them. Fish was moist, batter crispy, peas (proper) mushy. Service quick and cheerful. Oh and great onion rings.

The best fish and chips! These people are serious about their fish and it shows. No atmosphere, no alcohol, just great food and service.

I was a little disappointed in the menu. I was expecting more variety than just fish 'n' chips. However, the items we ordered were rather tasty. The chowder was filled with fish. The crab claws were plentiful for the price. They were mighty flavorful too. The special of the day was pan-fried brill. Delicious!

Hello Thank you for your review which confuses me.I do not understand what you mean by I was expecting more than Fish and Chips. You had Crab Claws,Pan Fried Brill and Seafood Chowder with lots of fish (your own words). This weekend we also have Dorey,Lobster,Mackerel and Lemon Sole to name a few. Regards, Liam. More

The food is exactly as you would want. Simple and tasty and reasonably priced. But the thing that has let it down on this occasion was the two waitresses. No hello. No chat. No smile. Actually the younger one tried to when I was paying but it didn't work. Management need to look at this as it will definitely affect... More

We had a great dinner at Quinlans. Our B&B recommended that we go, and we were really pleased with our experience. They serve a variety of different fish dinners, but we both had the VERY delicious Fish and Chips. They use fresh fish with their own beer batter. You go here for the food; the ambiance is lacking, but the... More

If you are looking for an inexpensive seafood dinner that is reasonably well prepared and plentiful, this is the place for you. My wife and I ate at Quinlans in early November. Being off season, there was no waiting line - but the small restaurant was full. The seafood was well prepared and salads were surprisingly good. However, dinner was... More

This restaurant came highly recommended so my expectations were high and needless to say I was not disappointed. Upon arrival there was a bit of a wait as the area is small and it's a popular location, but was soon as a table became available we were quickly accommodated. Upon seating the waitress immediately took our order as we were... More

Go early! This place is super popular and for good reason. Every time we passed by the line was out the door and down the block. So we went at like 5pm and were seated right away and were absolutely not disappointed. They serve a little side of something called "mushy peas" which is exactly that, and it was surprisingly...
