Best restaurant in Killarney for traditional fish & homemade chips. Excellent friendly staff. Great value for money. Everything is fresh.

What's not to like about this excellent restaurant. Fresh fish in generous sized portions, a choice of pan-fried (if you want to go "healthy"), proper chips, (a rare find these days) and mouth watering prawns. Add to this the bright, clean decor and top it off with friendly staff and efficient service. What more could you want? Oh, I almost... More

Walking the streets of Killarney we were struck by the small crowd lined up to get in. As travelers we always take note of the popularity of a place. Avoid the empties. Line up if it's full. And this was indeed well worth the short wait. The price was more than reasonable, but the focus here is on the food.... More

Back again to Quinlans on Main Street Killarney today for tea at 5pm We were a party of four, and I chose the deep water Atlantic prawns in a light batter with salad. I have never encountered such a tasty prawn in my life, definitely to be ordered again. My companions went for the more traditional fish and chips with... More

Very fine food form a small restaurant. Do not be fooled by the small size of this place. The food is superb. Well worth a visit.

The atmosphere here is plain and simple. There is no alcohol served. The goal is to come in, order and move on so that others may dine. It is a good proposition especially given how good the food is and how the reasonably it is priced. Portions are good sized too. Go grab a meal and then go across to... More

Crowded but good value....huge portions! Basically fish and chips place but 5-6 choices of fish, all fresh. Seems to be very popular with locals and younger people.

This little spot (12 tables?) was booming with a line out the door. Well deservedly so! The servings were huge and some of the best seafood ever. We had the salmon dinner and the hake, with an order of chowder. We sure didn't need the chowder - but we ate it all anyway. Yum! Highly recommend it if you like... More
