Really, really good fish and chips!

Thank you once again, Trip Advisor, for getting us to this place. Clean, bright and with wonderful fish and chips. A nice selection of fish to choose from; I had Hake and my wife had Cod. Both fresh, beautifully cooked and delicious.

We arrived early -- around 5:20 pm -- and that was a good thing, as it was crowded by 6:00 and people were waiting for tables. It would be worth the wait! The food was fresh and well-prepared, and the portions were generous. I had the haddock and chips; my wife had calamari and chips. The haddock was delicate in... More

I decided to try this place out upon recommendation by a friend. I couldn't dine in as I had my 5 month old baby with me who was quite unsettled so I got a takeaway. It was the best fish and chips I have ever had....I would highly recommend this place.

If you want classic fish and chips either alone or in a meal (mushy peas and a drink) as fairly tight but clean small dine-in or as take out, this is the place for you. Large servings. The fish was just what you want it to be although I found the chips to be cold and forgettable. So, I ate... More

Admittedly its not the biggest place on the main street. This place is very popular so expect to wait to be seated. The food is fresh with a great selection of different fish. I choose the Cod which was clearly fresh and cooked to perfection. Service was great and staff were friendly. This is without doubt the best Fish and chips... More

One makes no apology for re-re-reviewing this place. Why?Simple- the quality of the Food, Cooking, Presentation and attentive Staff are a continuing joy. Combined with very attractive pricing, one simply cannot resist coming twice a year for complete satisfaction.

This is really a must place to eat. The fish chowder is better than Legal Seafood's. The staff and service is good. Its a small place so go early if you have a time table. The price was very reasonable. It does not serve wine or beer , for those who are looking for a drink with dinner.

great place and the sea bass was amazing! Gets very crowded and the tables are small and very close to each other but the food makes up for it!

Enjoyed an early dinner and it was, hands down, the best fish and chip experience we had in Ireland. Much better than Leo Burdocks that celebrities frequent in Dublin. We had seen this establishment the day before and put it out on our must try list. Great food and service experience, not a fancy place, but if you're looking for... More

The food is much better than average but I found the place expensive for what you get. Mushy peas were an extra which I thought was a bit much considering the price of the dinner I ordered.
