Description: Tucked away on New Street in Killarney Quinlans Seafood Bar may be one of the most satisfying dining experiences around. Quinlan’s is unique in Ireland as it serves Fresh Fish and Shellfish from its own boats, landed daily in County Kerry. Quinlan’s (Killarney and Tralee) tempt diners with fresh seasonal fish and seafood in a casually elegant setting. Fresh Hake, Cod, Haddock, Whiting and Plaice, from Dingle bay are available throughout the year and each day a range of specials depending on what is in season and has been landed that morning is available. If you love your seafood you must visit us to sample the best and freshest Fish and Chips, shellfish specials and ‘the catch of the day’. We also do take away (order by phone) and courier delivery of smoked salmon and fresh fish (from our website). All trip advisor customers can avail of specials by quoting the TRIPADVOR1 voucher code.

Great peas too!! This place is not to be missed. Great fresh fish and chips! Cod, haddock, hake, salmon, shrimp...take your pick. Cute place in Killarney- simple, clean, and good food. Don't forget to ask for you checks if they take awhile.. the Irish do not rush you out!

We ate at Quinlans twice while in Killarney. Both times the fish and chips were excellent. Very fresh. The salmon was also excellent. This is not a comfortable restaurant where you dine. You usually wait in line to get a tight seat to eat great seafood. Prices are also good, but it is a no frills restaurant.

As it's title suggests, this is not your average, everyday, 'Chip Shop', or 'Chipper', as they're known in Ireand. The food is amazing and, even though we had a takeaway, it was delicious, well presented and reasonably priced. You can tell immediately that it's a very popular place, as the queue for a table was halfway down the street! The... More

We ate at Quinlan's on 9 Sep 2014; someone in our tour group had heard of it. The fish was very good, plenty of it, and as cheap as one can expect in Ireland. I had mine with chips; wife with salad; we were both happy. The thing to remember is that it's so popular there's always a line at... More

We actually got a takeaway which we ate in the park as it was such a lovely evening. The haddock was deep fried in batter to perfection, the chips were very moreish (and I don't normally even like chips!), the chowder was superb and the bread that went with it was almost as good as my Granny's! I would recommend... More

Hello ListoFanza, Thank you for such a fantastic review. Haddock is one of my favourites deep fried I think when it is a big fillet it takes some beating. Our chowder is also very popular and I am delighted you enjoyed your visit and everything about it. Kind Regards, Liam. More

With fish and chips it's all about the batter and Quinlans has the best batter ever. They could deepfry anything with this batter and you would be licking your fingers.

We were heading out on Friday night looking for somewhere to eat,we saw a queue outside here and joined it based on that.We ended up skipping the whole queue as we said we didn't mind sharing a table with strangers. The queue moves fast anyway.Wow,the fish is to die for,so fresh and not greasy in the slightest.I got fish goujons with... The fish and chips were really, really good - very fresh fish - they have their own trawlers. It's a small cafe so queuing is the order of the day but the queue moves along quite quickly. We were lucky and got in without queueing. The staff are very friendly and efficient. There's a good choice and would certainly recommend... More
