Description: Tucked away on New Street in Killarney Quinlans Seafood Bar may be one of the most satisfying dining experiences around. Quinlan’s is unique in Ireland as it serves Fresh Fish and Shellfish from its own boats, landed daily in County Kerry. Quinlan’s (Killarney and Tralee) tempt diners with fresh seasonal fish and seafood in a casually elegant setting. Fresh Hake, Cod, Haddock, Whiting and Plaice, from Dingle bay are available throughout the year and each day a range of specials depending on what is in season and has been landed that morning is available. If you love your seafood you must visit us to sample the best and freshest Fish and Chips, shellfish specials and ‘the catch of the day’. We also do take away (order by phone) and courier delivery of smoked salmon and fresh fish (from our website). All trip advisor customers can avail of specials by quoting the TRIPADVOR1 voucher code.

We had a great meal here, while queuing outside for a table would usually put you off the atmosphere made it worthwhile and before you knew it you were seated inside. Friendly and fast service, food was amazing and fresh, again the atmosphere inside was great as family's and couples received their food and we're not disappointed.

From the moment that I touched down on Irish soil I wanted to down a dozen oysters or more. And a quick look at TA showed that Quinlans was a seafood restaurant near the top of the rankings. So off we shot to eat our molluscs. Only to find that this was really a fish and chips kinda place. The... More

Yes, certainly, if you are considering the site and the space, or the queue outside. But you cannot rate this restaurant a fast food if you taste what is in front of you, in your dish. Fresh fish, from fish and chips to calamari to shrimps to bigger fishes, grilled or roasted, and the salmon. You will again rate it... More

Walked past the restaurant several times during our stay and there was always a queue of a dozen or so people waiting to be seated. Then by chance one evening there was only two others waiting so we joined the line, we were seated within 10 mins and enjoying our fish and chips within 20 mins. A portion consists of... More

Hello LAC1959, Thank you for your review. This summer season has been very busy and while we try our best to accommodate everybody in a timely fashion we do appreciate peoples patience in queueing, however from this week on as children go back to school this shouldn't be a problem. Quinlans had been recommended to us as the best fish and chips. There is always a queue outside for a table but they also do a take away option which we went for and the batter catch of the day was delicious.

Went here twice during our stay First day, ordered from kids menu but kids ended up not liking their fish goujons/fish and chips ("too oily") and we ended up sharing our food with them - which they loved, by the way. Our order came a bit later than others as it was salmon, but we did not mind this at... More

The fish and chips I had at Quinlans was the best I've ever had. I had fish and chips several times while I was in Ireland, and this was the best -- by far the largest portion and freshest. It was cooked perfectly. I had planned to get a "traditional" order of cod, but we were seated next to several... More
