Very nice, quiet cafe. Sandwiches and coffee. Easy to reach. Nice staff. Outdoor seating, if the weather is nice.

Enjoyed a lovely strong cup of tea with a couple of truffle chocolates which were divine. The rest of my party had coffee & said it was very good. The staff were extremely helpful, even helping us to carry our coffees to the tables outside. The inside looked very nice but as it was a warm day we decided to sit... More

This is a small cafe in the heart of Killarney. Popular with both tourists and locals, it is perfect for a cup of coffee or tea (or in my case a hot chocolate). The staff are friendly and efficient. If you want to treat yourself you can buy yourself a Lir Chocolate or two.

I have more than one reason to give this establishment a rave review. Not only was the coffee, food, service, and atmosphere excellent they also saved me from a world of frustration after I left my backpack in the restaurant. My backpack contained many of our valuables including iPhones and passports. But when I remembered where I had left it... More

Small coffee shop in Killarney that serves delicious coffee and chocolates. I think they had some sandwiches & soup but we did not partake. They have some outdoor tables if the weather is nice enough. Inside there are a few small tables for maybe about 15 people. There is a bar along the window looking out and a small couch/chair... Stopped by Lir Cafe for an afternoon snack and tried their AMAZING marshmallow hot chocolate and a cookie. The cookies were soft and paired perfectly with the hot chocolate. It was definitely a special treat I will never forget.

Great coffee but was a bit disappointed that the range of chocolates were pretty poor. The staff were young ladies and did not seem customer orientated, more interested in their own social scene and I felt a coldness- pity really as it used to be a friendly place for a cappuccino and a gorging of handmade chocolates!

It is a great place to stop and have a little pick me up dessert. They offer a variety of coffees, good selection of teas, hot chocolate with mallows and cream ( yam!) as well as scones and a limited number of pastries. We enjoyed the free WiFi and friendly service.

A busy little coffee shop which is popular with the locals as well as tourists.... convenient to the jaunting car stand.
