Unforgettable, excellent, 11 out of 10 😃

I stumbled upon this lovely restaurant on a hiking trip last year with my two sons , we all just decided to go for the basic cod and chips . It was absolutely beautiful, the fish was so fresh it would have melted in your mouth and full of flavour and the chips cooked to perfection. A little piece... read more

I was walking around town in Killarney when I came upon this restaurant. I had the fish soup that I expected to be good but with the first taste I was blown away! It was fantastic...a must have! I loved the decor and warm welcoming vibes of Stonechat, matching that of John the owner and Narita the waitress. The pews... More

Wandering the side-streets, We discovered this charming café quite by mistake. Reception was warm and inviting----small bar area, comfortable seating areas--- The usual beers/wines/backbar cocktails-- The bruschetta was tasty, Fish and chips--excellent. Pasta of the day with garlic toast was very nice. Irish beef stew was great! Cute outdoor patio--. Music was fun--60's, 70's! This restaurant should be better advertised!... More

We stumbled into Stonechat completely blind, and finding a lunch spot is difficult as most places do dinner only in Killarney. The server was gracious, the soup not too salty and piping hot, and the grilled goat cheese sandwhich had so many complementary flavors I'm going to try and recreate it at home. My fiance very much enjoyed her lamb... More

Stonechat Restaurant is a hidden gem situated on a quiet alley off the main street in Killarney. The early evening special was E22 for 3 courses which was good value in Killarney. The choice on the menu was good , the portions generous and it was popular with local people. The staff were very friendly and service good.

Found this lovely restaurant while wondering the main street of Killarney! Very quaint little place in a side lane. We had no booking but they managed to find us a table on an obviously booked out night! The staff were lovely and friendly and the food was delicious! Thoroughly enjoyed!

After wandering around Killarney, we stumbled upon this quaint restaurant which was tucked away off the main streets. It has a very cozy feel to it both inside and out, and the service was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, both of the traditional Irish type, and would highly recommend any future visitors to the town to make a point... More
