As a Killarney local could not recommend this restaurant to any visitor to the town given the availability of superior restaurants at the same price point within 100m of stonechat. It seems popular with locals but these in the quantity of dish over quality bracket. Starters Mussels: Purported to come in a white wine and cream sauce. Came cooked in... More

While walking through town looking for a place to have dinner, we walked through an alleyway between buildings and found this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! The waitstaff were friendly and the food was good. I had an excellent prawn stirfry. Worth the effort to find the place!

Went here on a Sat evening and the place wasn't busy, a party of 6 adults and 2 kids plus a few drinks and the bill was close on 256.00 euro - bit much on average 42 per head . The staff were unfriendly, a different person approached the table each time - one guy tried to convince us that... More

Strange place. Food is average, not bad, but nothing special; service is very good. They try to be "different" from the many Irish-style places dowtown Killarney, but with limited success. In example, the wine list is much better than the beer one (basically the only option in draft was Heineken!!! an heresy). All considered, a nice idea to be much... More

Food here is nothing special, but I wouldn't say it's worse than average. However, if the weather is good, and you are to sit outside, it is an excellent place. You do sit on a narrow street, but we thought it was very pretty. Waiting staff were good, food was all right... but overall, we had a great time there...... More

We went here because it had vegan options, but we shouldn't have bothered. My friend had a starter that ended up costing two euros more than it was advertized as, nearly the same as a dinner, for two small pieces of bread, weirdly solid hummus and some salad. We then got our main courses and weren't impressed. It was edible,... More

Peeked in down the lane. Agree a step above pub food and not too expensive. My chicken stir fry did not disappoint. Oyster sauce added great flavor. Would suggest as sone timer quick enjoyable dinner. Can eat outside if you wish.

We saw this place down a quiet lane and loved the food so much we ate there again a few days later. Absolutely great food both times. We ate vegetarian dishes the first night and salmon with bruschetta entree the second visit.
