We dined near the fireplace area, which kept us warm. The food and service were excellent. There was live Irish music that evening, and we enjoyed this as well.

We had our lunch in here while waiting for a bus. Both had burgers and as far as it was an offer due to the races were pretty happy with the price. The portion is generous, the quality of meat is good and you have lots of chips as well. After this great lunch we even skipped the dinner. If... More

Stopped in this quaint pub when we arrived in Killarney. Had my eyes set on the cabbage & bacon, but so did everyone else it was that good (locals assured me it was that good...when they discovered I went they immediately asked if I had the cabbage & bacon, so it must be amazing). I ended up having the hamhock... More

Stopped in for dinner-had a perfectly poured pint of Guinness and their freshly steamed mussels were excellent.

What I liked best was after having a great early supper one night, I brought friends over the next day and the owner thanked me for returning and bringing friends. I was just a tourist, but the manager/owner reached out to recognize me. I had another great meal with them and returned back two more days for meals. The only... More

Popped in on a Tuesday evening, lovely cosy little bar. We both had the turkey & ham, which consisted of three or four generous big slices of moist Turkey on top of the stuffing stuffed ham, with mash and veg to accompany..couldn't fault it,it was a lovely big portion(Hungry bloke) and it was really tasty. Even had the cranberry sauce to go on... More

A Tuesday evening; 20 people here; and I'm the only Irishman! Saying that; everyone is "jovial" and it's a bit louder than I'm used to. The craic is good though. Pint and a burger for €15.50. Sure you can't go wrong with that. If this is quiet season; I don't think I'll be back again until autumn ..... for my... More

We visited Murphy's Bar for lunch after our first choice was under renovation . Sheila waited on our table and served the hot seafood chowder efficiently. The soup was nice and hot... Creamy and delicious. Perfect for a cold day! The salads were fresh and good. Four of us had lunch for 45 euro. The food came out in nice... More
