Had two meals at Murphy's. Each one was delicious and plentiful...more than enough food. Wait staff was friendly and attentive.

Twice had dinner there on a three day stay, try the traditional Irish Stew as the lamb was delicious!

Stopped in with some friends while traveling. Corned beef was delicious and so was the Shepard's pie! Big portions.

The bits on the wall made this place. Great Guiness served at this place (because it's drinken so much here, it's usually a fresh keg). I didn't have food so I can't speak to that but the prices were about average for the town and the beer was good with a good atmosphere. Great craic (you'll get it when you... More

The pub itself is okay, showing many different sports on various screens around the bar. However, the food was average at best. The service wasn't great as it was quite slow though the waitress was very friendly and helpful when she did get to our table. Overall, not the best I've experienced.

The friendliness of the staff and locals was bar none (pardon the pun), regular traditional music and a completely relaxed and hospitable atmosphere. Murphy's Bar was our go-to spot in Killarney.

This was the best food I had on my Ireland trip. I had the traditional Irish stew which was out of this world. I was extremely happy!

With my name at the entrance and on my first excursion to the Motherland, my choice for a brew was Murphy’s in Killarney, County Kerry. A pint of Murphy’s Irish stout (a dark amber beer) is about 4.5 euros, around $7. A large part of that cost, and those in the restaurant, is Ireland’s 23 percent consumption tax. The bar... More

We stumbled upon Murphy's late at night and had an amazing time in this pub. We ran into someone named Bogey who seems to frequent this pub and is very well welcomed as soon as he comes in. He sang a few tunes with the band who was playing authentic Irish music and it was a really great time. One... More
