One of the few places open before noon and they offer a very good full Irish! The staff was extremely nice and spot on with the food and drinks. Very good price, as well! Had some great conversation with the locals here. Recommended!

We asked a local resident what was the best bar---for food or music. Murphy's was recommended for best food. Shepard's pie was large portion, tasty, and included a lot of lamb. Overall no complaints, except that their USD conversion rate was $1.40 when market rate was $1.30..Well, next time we'll charge it in euros instead.

Food was good, Murphy's beer was great. Enjoyed the ambiance of the pub right in town. Recommend it to anyone visiting Killarney. Loved this town and would return.

My husband and I went into Murphy's Pub for lunch and a pint. My husband's sandwich included the best piece of bacon you could ever imagine eating. My vegetable soup was pureed. You could not tell it was vegetable soup by its appearance, but the taste was excellent. When I asked our waitress where we could buy pint glasses like... More

Had two meals at Murphy's. Each one was delicious and plentiful...more than enough food. Wait staff was friendly and attentive.

Stopped in with some friends while traveling. Corned beef was delicious and so was the Shepard's pie! Big portions.

The bits on the wall made this place. Great Guiness served at this place (because it's drinken so much here, it's usually a fresh keg). I didn't have food so I can't speak to that but the prices were about average for the town and the beer was good with a good atmosphere. Great craic (you'll get it when you... More
