If you want to try some non Irish food this is the place! We had a reservation, were promptly seated and greeted by our waiter. He was very friendly and took excellent care of our table. We had the crostini appetizer, it was delicious. The lasagna is as good as any I have had, even in Italy! Decent wine list... More

We looked forward to our 2 night break in Killarney with the highlight of dining in Cucina Italina. We were quite disappointed with the menu choice and the prices. My partner had beef carpaccio and I had scallop and crab broth both of which were excellent. My partners risotto was good but for a small vegetarian portion was over priced.... More

The Ross hotel suggested Cucina Italiano which was good because we might not have found it on our own. It is not that it is hidden away, but it is one direction from the hotel just down a lane, while the village is in the other direction. The restaurant is all neutrals and lovely. Be aware that it is small... More

Very nice Italian restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was very good. It was expensive but in my view well worth it. The wine list was good and reasonably priced. We ate there twice in the few days we were in Killarney. The restaurant was very busy and a reservation was needed.

The food was great but plan on a two hour meal. Service was friendly but very slow between courses. It was busy that night and they may have been understaffed.

Friendly service. Arrived just in time to have the early-bird menu, the steak was perfectly cooked (rare and medium rare - often they come less rare than we want). Very small, but doesn't feel too cramped. Would go again

Cucina Italiana is, without a doubt, the best Italian restaurant in which I have ever eaten. It was spotlessly clean, and I do appreciate a cloth tablecloth. Our servers were attentive, informative and knowledgeable about the menu, and interacted with humor with our group consisting of New Zealanders, Australians, Canadians and Americans. The starters were tasty, entrees were delicious, and dessert... As a senior reviewer on tripadvisor, I have never before given a bad review. I even gave this restaurant a very good review last December. However, since my experience last night, I will never eat there again. I had arranged a family get together for 5 people. So on Tuesday evening, I approached a nice Italian lady in Cuccina and... We wanted a change from customary fish and chips and we weren't disappointed. We had the daily specials. Just delicious. The service was very good as well.
