Fine Italian Dining!

Hotel recommended Cucina Italiana. Dining room is small (and up a spiral staircase), but boy was the food great! Son had unstructured lasagna (best lasagna he's ever had) daughter had gnochi and I had a vegetarian rigatoni. Food was wonderful, chef sent over complimentary bruscetta (Yum!) and... read more

I was looking forward to a tasty Italian meal with friends in Killarney. Unfortunately what we got was overpriced and truly crap food, and to make matter worse rude and argumentative wait staff. A pasta and tomato sauce main cost €25. Starters ranged from €8 - €15. We expected some pretty good pasta at this exorbitant price. We had to... More

Let me start out by saying we have really been striking out in Killarney as far as dining goes. We have had some terrible meals. Cucina tasted good compared to everywhere else we have tried. If it was in a bigger city with better restaurants, I don't think the reviews would be as good. The wait staff was nice, we... More

We visited Cucina Italiana on a Saturday evening while visiting Killarney, Ireland. Our hotel called and made a reservation and we are happy we did! Upon arrival we were seated in a pretty serene dining room filled with simple lovely candies and fragrant lilies. Simple and calming best describe the dining room. We wish the chairs were replaced with more... More

This is a good Resturant with lovely food but it could be so much better. It is fairly expensive, probably too expensive for what it gives you. The decor is very sparse and leaves the place lacking atmosphere and character as a result. The service is efficient but it memorable, Kerry is one of the most magical and memorable places... More
