We enjoyed a vacation dinner here. All in all a nice experience, friendly and very attentive staff and very hospitable. For a restaurant with this rating you would expect the food to be perfect. Quality was mixed. I had the seafood platter. The mussels in butter sause were fantastic, the prawns cooked to perfection. The squid was nice, but the... More

Lord Kenmares isn't somewhere I would frequent as it is quite pricey but for a special occasion it is certainly worth treating oneself. I came here with family and friends, ten of us in total, for dinner on a Tuesday night and were certainly glad we made a reservation because even on a Tuesday it was quite busy. We decided... More

My husband and I were greeted promptly and warmly. We both had seafood which was delicately prepared and full of flavor. One of the best seafood dishes I've had. We plan on returning before we leave Killarney.

Great food, great service and a nice atmosphere. What more could you ask for. Try the early bird menu, before 7pm, good value.

Had an excellent meal in Lord Kenmare, Killarney tonight..the restaurant was buzzing with guests and the service was truly amazing. Kathleen recommended this restaurant to me about two weeks ago, when I said I was going to Killarney for a couple of nights.....it was all and more what she said. Well done Kathleen....you made our night! We will be back... More

I went on a review from a gluten free website, and was not disappointed! The restaurant is above Murphy's Bar, another recommended eatery. We were the first in for the evening; not having eaten lunch, we were hungry. The hostess and wait staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant did fill up a bit, but we never felt rushed or... A friend informed us that this hotel had good food, at a reasonable price. We had a starter each, with mains being monkfish and fillett steak, and a bottle of french merlot and a glass of white wine, 110 euro for the bill. Food was lovely, atmosphere on the night ( Thursday ) was lovely, and the staff were very... More

Excellent menu. Food was well cooked. Service was really good. Room was a bit noisy but there was a group of golfers at the other end so this should not be a problem on normal nights. Restaurant is on the first floor but there is a lift for easy access. Would go back if I'm in Killarney again.
