Amazing food, wonderful Irish hospitality

This is a very stylish restaurant in a nice hotel in the heart of Killarney so you might expect high prices and hotel style formality, but there is none of that. It is a fairly priced, trendy spot with great staff. The food was outstanding; I had the duck, my wife had the shrimp; both exceeded... read more

Great atmosphere but food was very average. Prices are fair and service was good. Overall we were a bit disappointed.

Dont usually review restaurants but this was very impressive. Located in the Ross Hotel, just off Killarney main street, this was recommended to us and rightly so. The whole hotel was rebuilt some 15 years ago and it is highly unusual with city/artistic decor and lighting in a country town. It is so unlike any of the other more traditional... More

Cool, upscale and modern. This place was a breath of fresh air from the local pubs. Food was wonderful. Great wine selection, and service.

My very 1st Dingle Gin - Let me get that in there as a recommendation for an excellently different gin. The food: very good, with touches of excellence. What let it down slightly is some blandness in certain dishes and some interesting attempts at fusing flavours that maybe might not go together - but hey, I'm not an expert. The... More

We were recommended this place by the owner of bricin after he could not accommodate us for the night and we were not disappointed. Not really the type of restaurant we would have chosen for ourselves as we were more interested in traditional style places for our holiday but the food really impressed us and i would highly recommend.

A few college friends were down in Killarney for the weekend so I said I'd take them out somewhere nice for a bit to eat.. I can easily say it was one of the nicest meals I've ever had, from start to finish. The service was impeccable and the food.. I can't even!! I shared a mussel and prawn bowl... More

We ate here after it was recommended to us by another restaurant owner. While waiting for our table, we were brought upstairs personally by the manager who gave us menus to look through while getting a drink and waiting. The cocktails were amazing and roughly around the 9 euro mark. The food was amazing and we all agreed the starter... More

We went for dinner on the first night of our honeymoon last night. The restaurant decor is fantastic, really cool place. The staff were very attentive and helpful and even got the chef to write congratulations on our dessert once they knew it was our honeymoon! The food portions were very generous! My wife ordered the lamb pattie to start... More

Ate here tonight, ordered the monkfish bites and a chicken and mozzarella ciabatta. The monkfish was lovely, however my boyfriend noticed his chicken was pink and mentioned it to a waitress who immediately took it away and apologised. Unfortunately I had finished my meal by the time the replacement arrived, however it was cooked well and my boyfriend enjoyed it.... More
