And be sure to make a reservation, because the restaurant is popular. We had a reservation, which gratified the host, who's also a co-owner, so much that he was very warm and friendly to us through the rest of the dinner. The menu is fairly traditional, but we had a delicious, simply prepared hake and the house specialty, which is... More

This boxty restaurant was wonderful. The host was warm and engaging. Spent a few minutes talking with us. Service was first class. Food was terrific.

Well, I walked into Bricin Restaurant on my birthday, during my long-awaited first trip to Ireland. A lovely man named Johnny, who I later discovered was one of the owners, greeted me and my husband. There were no tables available, as we arrived during a very busy time. So Johnny, very humbly and apologetically, took our name for the following... More

We researched the various restaurants and reviews and decided to book a table (as everywhere was very busy) on our second night in Killarney, While the food was of high standard and delicious, compliments to the chef! the service was poor, lacking in knowledge generally. and as an example the menu on line did not correspond with the actual inside,... This was the best food we had on our trip. I would highly recommend eating here even if the wait is long it's worth it.

We ate here one evening. It is upstairs, so if you have mobility issues, you may want to look elsewhere. We were created by the owner who sat us and proclaimed that his brother was doing the cooking. Food was very good as was the service. I had the grilled scallops, which were done just right. My wife had the... More

Every bite of the lamb boxty with lamb was such a perfect blend of complimentary flavors. My mouth was singing happiness!

Excellent dinner, we had a boxty each although we had no idea what we ordered. This could mean everything on the menu is good. The frontman John is a nice fellow. Do make a reservation otherwise you may be disappoinred.

My friends and I were visiting Killarney (11th-14th July) and were recommended this restaurant which we visited on our 2nd night. It was slightly odd to enter the restaurant via the giftshop downstairs but once upstairs it was a lovely restaurant with nice decor and a cosy atmosphere. We had pre-booked a table and were seated quickly. Our waitress was... More

Get a reservation if you can, because many people know this is a restaurant to drive a distance for. We had to wait for a table and so glad we did. We had been referred here because of the ratatouille boxty and it was excellent. The owner earns great credit for ensuring a premium experience from the moment you come... More
