Food was really really nice. We were recommended by a friend to go to this restaurant! The staff, service and food were all 5 star! We can't wait to return to Killarney and go back to the Bricin for some more fabulous food!

Food was wow, Staff very helpful and friendly, Service very good and value for money great. We had a group of 15. They moved our tables on arrival so we could all sit together. they could not have done more to make it a great night. It was mostly the steak dinners which were great but some had the chicken... I visited here on a Saturday night with my girlfriend while visiting Killarney. The restaurant was very busy - reservations would be essential. It is upstairs through a gift shop which sells souvenirs aimed mainly at tourists - in hindsight this should have been a warning but we were happy to try based on reviews. Service was excellent - the... More

First and foremost I highly recommend calling ahead and getting reservations. We lucked into walking in and they had a couple people not show up. If not for that we would have been out of luck for dinner. Speaking of dinner it was out of this world. We ordered the Boxty. If you go there it is well worth ordering.... More

We took a risk walking in without a booking, but hoped being early would help. Although it was already busy thankfully there was a table available and we were seated quite quickly. Being well known for traditional Irish food I chose the deep fried camembert with redcurrants as my starter and that was very nice, followed by the Boxty (traditional... More

This meal was absolutely delicious from start to finish. We did a 3 course prix fixe menu for a reasonable price. Fried camembert was an absolutely delicious appetizer. The boxty with lamb and the salmon and hake gratin were both fantastic entrees. And the fruit crumble for dessert was so wonderful. The ambience was dark, beautiful, and fairly quiet- perfect... We went here on a Wednesday night without a booking only to be turned away unfortunately but the host who was fantastic recommended an alternative for the night and sorted us with a booking on Thursday night instead. Fabulous service! Also suggested things for us to do for our only full day in the area. We returned the next night... More

Centrally located over one of the more interesting gift shops in Killarney, this is an excellent restaurant with a warm, engaging atmosphere. Would have gone back twice if it had been possible (it's popular so booking earlier in the day seems essential - the shop beneath takes bookings). It was a fellow diner's birthday the night we went so we... More

Eight of us had dinner at Bricin last week. We had reservations and were promptly seated. Our meals were all very good. My only complaint is that on vacation, this group of family/friends enjoys a cocktail or glass of wine before dinner, usually with an appetizer. The server didn't even ask for a drink order - within minutes of being... More
