Food is great--very busy and popular location--need a reservation. Service very good and dinner options plentiful.

We first visited this restaurant 9 years ago while on honeymoon and enjoyed a fantastic meal. We decided to revisit with our baby daughter, we arrived at about 6.30pm and we're just able to be accommodated, but we should really have booked so we were lucky! The restaurant is above a gift shop, so when we arrived and asked if... More

I visited the restaurant in sept 2014 and whilst I hadn't made a booking they were able to accommodate us. I would advise booking if possible. The staff were extremely welcoming & attentive. They chatted with visitors without being intrusive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very enjoyable. It was busy but diners had lots of space. The food was... More

While staying in Killarney with a group of 8 golfer buddies, we dined at Bricin on the advice of the concierge at our hotel. We were not disappointed. Good food, good service, good ambience. And definitely try the Boxty....an Irish specialty. I ordered it with the lamb filling and it was delicious. Bricin is not a pretentious restaurant....indeed it is... More

Myself and my husband were looking for a nice restaurant in Killarney to have a date night and we came across Bricin on trip advisor. After our meal, we made a reservation for our whole group (7 adults and 1 baby) to come back two nights later for a end of trip group dinner. The food was excellent - fresh,... More

Warm atmosphere, good service and tasty food. What else one should ask for. Maybe just to remember to make a reservation as the place is popular. For me when it good fish are available the rest of the menu becomes irrelevant. In Bricin the Panfried Hake is fantastic. Other dishes like the Thai Red Chicken Curry are not a bad... More

We tried going to Bricin our first night in Killarney but they were sold out, as it were. We met an extremely kind man at the top of the stairs who apologized and gave us a reservation for the following night. It was well-worth the wait. The service was a little slow but the food was fantastic. Ignore everything else... More

We enjoyed our evening meal at this restaurant. Lovely food and a very warm atmosphere! As a family with young children, we appreciated being able to book in early in the evening for our meal!

For years our friends in Killarney have been telling us to dine at Bricin restaurant. When we are abroad we go to restaurants that are popular with the locals. Accordingly we paid our first visit to Bricin last June and what a beautiful surprise we had. I am a great fan of pan fried hake. The hake in Bricin is... More

Bricin's fills fast and for good reason. Lovely atmosphere, friendly people, great selection, reasonable prices for fine food. We had the Irish scallops and Ratatouille Boxty, good wine and a delightful time here.
