Nice little cafe!

Salads, wraps, vegetarian options...this little cafe is a great place to stop in for a lunch or coffee. The service was great. Home cooked food, warm welcome, free t&c refills, cosy atmosphere and great selection of cakes and desserts, including gluten free options. Just off Shop Street.

It took a little while to find it but this is my best find of the week. Hot vegetarian choics. Yummy snacks and deserts I got the last piece of rhubarb pie and they heated it and served with a warm custard Great service and warm atmosphere

Stumbled across this place after the St. Patrick's Day Parade looking for some "brunch". It is small but excellent. Menu was satisfying. Food was good. Service was adequate. Great conversation with staff while waiting. Overall, a go back to place. Be aware - cash only.

I've been here a few times lately and I'm still blown away by their fantastic food! I can't get their Cajun chicken panini out of my head, it's becoming quite the craving! Galway isn't the most buggy friendly city, cobbles, narrow shops and lots of steps but Food for Thought have gone out of their way to welcome me and... More

Great for a quick bite and a coffee, friendly staff, reasonable service. We had a panini and a toasted wrap, well filled & tasty, fresh ingredients. A touch crowded on a busy Saturday at lunchtime.

Whilst the coffee may not be the best in town, the high stools and wall seating in this place mean that you can just drop in, stake your claim on a spot and read/ study/ dream away without feeling the usual cafe guilt about hogging a table. The food is nice and the place is so central it's hard to... More

Great selection for a quick healthy bite. I am vegetarian and found many delicious options. The staff are extremely friendly. Seemed like it was frequented by the locals. Glad I stopped here!!!

By now I'm a regular patron to this eatery and with all the options for food in Galway's city centre its obviously a testament to the quality of the establishment as a whole that I find myself attracted to the place so often. The food is always good & they have never failed to serve what I ordered. Staff are... More
