Lovely spot

I often go into food for thought for a bite to eat they are always very nice. They go out of there way to help you with choices and suggestions. The only thing I wish is they had some lower seating so my mum who is elderly could share the experience too:)

I love when I can find a place that fits my solo travel needs. This cafe has plenty of single seats and is just on the edge of the busy, central area of Galway. I ordered the full Irish Breakfast, which actually was the only thing about the cafe that I didn't like. Most of the items came out cold... More

Had a quick lunch. Great choice of gluten free options. Huge portions of food too. Friendly staff bring food to your table

The best food I've had in a while, from the gluten & diary free chickpea and sweet potato curry, to the gluten & vegan free blueberry & vanilla pie. Topped off with an excellent coffee. What a great find! LOVED IT!

Stopped in yesterday for a wrap and was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful menu with lots of healthy options. Salads, wraps, vegetarian options...this little cafe is a great place to stop in for a lunch or coffee. The service was great. Upon asking about a particular pastry the cashier was quick to give me a generous sample to try. The... More

Home cooked food, warm welcome, free t&c refills, cosy atmosphere and great selection of cakes and desserts, including gluten free options. Just off Shop Street.

It took a little while to find it but this is my best find of the week. Hot vegetarian choics. Yummy snacks and deserts I got the last piece of rhubarb pie and they heated it and served with a warm custard Great service and warm atmosphere

Stumbled across this place after the St. Patrick's Day Parade looking for some "brunch". It is small but excellent. Menu was satisfying. Food was good. Service was adequate. Great conversation with staff while waiting. Overall, a go back to place. Be aware - cash only.

I've been here a few times lately and I'm still blown away by their fantastic food! I can't get their Cajun chicken panini out of my head, it's becoming quite the craving! Galway isn't the most buggy friendly city, cobbles, narrow shops and lots of steps but Food for Thought have gone out of their way to welcome me and... More
