Great for a quick bite and a coffee, friendly staff, reasonable service. We had a panini and a toasted wrap, well filled & tasty, fresh ingredients. A touch crowded on a busy Saturday at lunchtime.

Whilst the coffee may not be the best in town, the high stools and wall seating in this place mean that you can just drop in, stake your claim on a spot and read/ study/ dream away without feeling the usual cafe guilt about hogging a table. The food is nice and the place is so central it's hard to... More

Great selection for a quick healthy bite. I am vegetarian and found many delicious options. The staff are extremely friendly. Seemed like it was frequented by the locals. Glad I stopped here!!!

By now I'm a regular patron to this eatery and with all the options for food in Galway's city centre its obviously a testament to the quality of the establishment as a whole that I find myself attracted to the place so often. The food is always good & they have never failed to serve what I ordered. Staff are... More

While wandering around Galway City looking for a place to eat for Lunch on a Friday afternoon, I stumbleded upon Food 4 Thought. I felt comfortable the minute I walked in partly due to the incredibly kind and personable staff, and partly because of the overall environment and counter seating - as an individual traveling alone, these things are important.... It's very rare that I have difficulty deciding what to choose in a cafe or restaurant. You see, I'm a vegetarian. One of those nuisances to food providers or so you would sometimes feel based on the sparse range of options available in many places. Not so in Food for Thought. They certainly have given their menu plenty thought and... More

I had been searching for vegan/vegetarian restaurants in Galway while on vacation and had chosen a few that I was determined to try. When we discovered this one that had been on my "must try" list, I was thrilled! It was wonderful to see that there were so many choices for a vegetarian because in most places the choices are... This place is simply superb. It is on par with Dublin or London vegetarian restaurants! Don't miss it when in Galway City. The triple tofu cake was mouthwateringly scrumptious! Well done!
