Loved the ambience. About ten tables and two very attentive servers. Nothing pushy or rushed. Nice wine selection by the glass. Excellent mussels and squash soup! I had a perfect dinner for under $50.

Went here on a Friday afternoon with no booking but luckily got a table, menu was nice but would be more of a bar menu not a restaurant for night time. Food was delicious, I had the mussels & my partner had the spicy chicken burger, will probably return today again it was that tasty!!

Spent the long weekend in Galway and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced, the staff were so friendly and remembered us when we returned three times over the weekend. The lamb shank was the highlight of my weekend - I would definitely return to Galway (from Cork) for the food and... More

Chose based on the TA rating and the desire not to eat off a tourist menu in the Quay/High Street pedestrian area of Galway. Good choice of sizable starters (could make a light meal) and reasonably priced mains with seafood, lamb, beef, and veg choices. We had the calamari (above average), seafood chowder (above average), fishmonger dish (above average), and... More

Went to the Quay Street Kitchen for both lunch and dinner. Both times I enjoyed my meal. Quay Street also had a good selection of Galway beers. The Trip Advisor map was incorrect when I looked up the restaurant. If the map shows some location in a country town, ignore it and head on down to Quay Street.

It's been 7 hours since, but missing the place. Came here 3 times in 3 days. The staff, the atmosphere and food were perfect. Lamb Shank was amazing. Price was very reasonable considering the quality of food and location. Getting the chef for my wedding for sure :)

We had an early dinner at the Quay Street Kitchen. It was an awesome experience. Food was great, service was wonderful and ambiance was very nice and relaxing. You can't go wrong eating at this restaurant. It is also vegetarian and celiac friendly.
