Great place to eat in Galway. Huge portains, and very reasonable. Try the veggie burger :-) We keep going back.

Stopped in here to use the loo and decided to come back for dinner later. What a great idea. The food was great and came out very quickly. Even though we had 8 people, the staff didn't even flinch and quickly sat us. We sat for a long time and later that night, after the kitchen closed, an open mike... More

In Galway today we visited "The Cellar Restaurant" off Shop Street. The food was delicious and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The cost was very reasonable and I will certainly call next time we are in Galway.

Fantastic menu options and the staff were really nice. I had the goats cheese salad which was really yummy and a huge portion for the low cost !

This used to be our bar of choice as students, so I was delighted to find its still great all these years later. This time round it was lunch and it was very enjoyable. I had a toasted sandwich of Brie and ham, delicious and well priced. The service was quick and friendly. It's a busy spot as it always... More

Huge portions but food is mediocre in my opinion. Had the curry and was shocked at how much rice came with it. Not that much chicken with mushy veg and stale poppadom. Waitress was friendly though!

Had the B.L.T for lunch today..... on brown bap, it wasn't toasted...thought it would be, the lettuce was the type that has really long stalks on them, not very nice and way too many of them, cut off the stalks please, the main ingredient ...ie the bacon, two small pieces of bacon ....completely lost in a massive brown untoasted bap... Nicest food I think I have ever had, lovely staff, just and all round lovely place. I got the sizzling stir fry with chicken. It was absolutely beautiful, i also got a glass of coke which was a decent size glass which most places don't do.
