Excellent food and nice atmosphere

This restaurant is very nice with excellent food particularly if you like something different. The Middle Eastern Mezze is gorgeous and highly recommended. I will not hesitate going back to The Kitchen!

Goodness me this place serves yummy food. I had the veggie wrap and my wife the meat option mezze. We aren't vegetarians, but we love veggie cuisine when it's this great, it was packed with flavour and texture. The lamb koftas and squash and carrot bhajis on Josey's dish were both heavenly. This is all a bit gushing, but we... More

This place is great all round, setting, atmosphere and food. Totally different to the banal Galway lunch fare of burgers, sandwiches and roast dinners, lots of salads and varied dishes including asian and continental style. Very healthy options too. Suited me down to the ground may not work for anyone looking for traditional fare. But wel worth a visit, popular... More

This restaurant was a recommendation from a local and I was really impressed. Whilst I have enjoyed Irish pub food, I was ready for something a bit different and this was it. There are vegetarian options and combinations that you don't often find. Price was very reasonable, staff were pleasant. It is beside the museum which was not open on... More

Lovely food on offer in The Kitchen plenty of interesting food combinations and bursting with flavours. Really enjoy eating here and it is somewhere I would visit regularly when eating in Galway. Can't wait to go back. Only criticism would be the prices while not exceptionally high they could offer slightly better value options

Ate here recently with friends and was really impressed. The brunch menu was extensive with lots of traditional brunch options but also some more adventurous options on offer. I opted for the veggie breakfast which came with eggs, roast tomato, mushroom, sweet potato fritters and a pot of harissa sauce - the food was delicious. The service was friendly and... More

I go here regularly for breakfast and lunch, during the week and at the weekends. Staff are always very friendly, and never pushy for you to leave - you can relax with one of their excellent mochas in peace. They have a wide breakfast menu including staples like granola, and their own take on a fry, as well as smaller... More
