I've eaten here a number of times and never had a bad meal. The portion sizes are generous and I love 'The Kitchen Sink' hummus platter. They have great cakes and pastries as well, that go nicely with their selection of teas. You can even get a frequent tea drinker card where you earn a free cuppa after a number... More

The food is unreal here, lots of Gluten Free and Vegan dishes to choose from. The flavours are bold and bright and the desserts are always very appealing up on the counter! Would definitely recommend this place to eat..!

I went to The Kitchen last week by myself one afternoon to read a book and have a light lunch before going to the Yeats exhibition. The last times I'd been there, the menu was a rather long ramble of overpriced sandwiches so I had stuck to their (delicious) desserts and coffee. On this occasion, though, the menu had been... More

I've had evening meals twice, both times it was something like 20E for 3 courses, both times it was absolutely delicious. Absolute top marks for food: inventive, earthy, fresh and wholesome.

Great aternative to Ard Bia. Lovely spot and awesome food. Service can be very haphazard; wouldn't stop me going back again and again however.

This is attached to the Galway museum so is always busy, and deservedly so. They offer an interesting range on the menu and I enjoyed the Pho very much. A spicy noodle soup, it had a lovely flavour and I chose the steamed chicken option.

I had heard great things about this cafe so decided to go there with my mother and sister for lunch on Saturday. The service was awful, we were sitting at our table for quite a while before we could get the attention of one of the waitresses and ask her for menus. One of the staff who cleared the table... More

Visited The Kitchen today for the first time, and have to get the downsides out of the way first because I don't want this review to be read as unfairly negative - It is very confusing when first entering as to whether it's table service or not, the sandwiches are pricey for what you get, the sandwich I had was... Dear Thomas, Thank you so much for taking the time to review The Kitchen... However I was disappointed that you didn't have a great experience. I guess by your comments you ordered our Home Baked Ham & Cheese sandwich which we generally serve with a house relish, but since your review we have started to put the relish on the... More

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch with friends. Restaurant was busy but staff were excellent. There was a great selection of choices on the menu, with a few interesting twists, & prices were very reasonable. I had lemon sole on an asian noodle salad & it was delicious.
