Dropped in here for lunch with my wife and toddler in January. Few minutes walk from shop Street but bright and open. Relaxed, had nice dinner and chatted with some other customers. Food was good and service from kitchen was quick. Two barmen (brendan and paul I think) were polite and entertained our 1yr old who was busy exploring.

Enjoyed a great night here for my friends hen party recently. Really good food and great cocktails! Excellent service by very attentive staff. Brendan in the bar made sure we were well looked after. Will definitely be back!

Elwoods Bar & Grill is part of the Foster Court Hotel. It is fabulous! The food was great, very hot! Brendan the Bar Man was just amazing! He was there when we got up and was there when we went to bed in the early hours of the following morning! Thanks Brendan for a great weekend. Maddy X

Had to add to the title as from start to end a nice place to have a drink & food in. Guinness excellent, food was very very tasty the wine to go with it was very good also. Staff are welcoming, polite & attentive, we'll be back.

I had a very tasty chicken curry, which was a gourmet meal. Great ingredients and very up scale. The dessert was presented beautifully. The chef did a great job.

A nice small bar/restaurant with a modern clean fresh look. It was a quiet Tuesday night and I cannot compliment the service enough. I ordered a goats cheese salad as a starter and was pleasantly surprised when it came to the table. It tasted great and I thought the main would be just as great. I had the golden plaice,... More

My boyfriend and I came here after looking up steakhouse and we love our steak. This restaurant came up on trip advisor as the top one so we went. I enjoyed my steak in the way I was asked it to be cut. Lovely meal altogether. Drinks were pricey doe. We came just before 9 and were told it was... More
