My daughter and I stumbled across this place by accident. She was starving and we saw a sign that mentioned soups and we climbed upstairs. We both ended up getting the meat quiche which had ham and chicken in it, and it was very good. It was on the cheaper side, which is good when every time you make a... More

I found this place accidentally one afternoon, thankfully! I got 2 wraps, chicken pesto and cajun chicken - both were great and decently priced.

I had traditional Irish Stew for 10 euro. It was a big portion and tasted delicious. If you are looking for somewhere to get a quick bite, but don't want fast food or wait in an expensive restaurant I highly recommend Luynch's Cafe. I also had chicken breaded with stuffing and stuffed with cream cheese and chives. It was great... More

Had lunch there yesterday with my visiting parents only for my father and myself to get food poison. We both had the herb chicken and during the meal I commented that there seemed to be water coming from our chicken. Needless to say we have not been enjoying the past 24 hrs. It will be quite a while before I... More

Friendly and consistent. Great value. My kids love breakfast or lunch there on a Saturday. Having been going to Lynch's for a decade, I find it impossible to believe the 1* review saying a waitress was rude. Maybe there was more to the story.

I was in Lynchs today, two of my friends were having food, two were having coffee or a drink and three of us were sitting with them for accompaniment, we were confronted by an unfriendly, borderline grumpy waitress who insisted we buy something too if we were to sit with them. The other two bought a coke each, and i,... More

Escape from the madding crowd for a light lunch at Lynch's on the second floor above bustling Shop Street. Somewhat old fashioned, the way sit-down cafeterias used to be. Carvery type counter lunch or table service available. Soup and sandwiches were good, filling and value for money. Pleasant atmosphere.
