Awesome food. Vegan Quesadillas were so good Very cute decorations around the entire restaurant. The staff was attentive and quick. A little on the pricey side but worth every cent!

My wife and I spent a very pleasant few days in Galway just before Christmas. We dropped in to Fat Freddy's for a bite to see what the place was like in the Winter as previous experiences were in the Summer. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was terrific and very "Christmassy", the staff wonderful and most importantly, the food... More

Our family of 6 ate great Bruschetta and pizza! The portions were generous, the service very friendly and a the restaurant had a great family environment. Bruschetta drew rarest reviews, my calzone was fantastic, too!

This is one of Galway's oldest pizza restaurants. The quality had dipped here some years ago so I was unsure what awaited me on my recent visit. Well ! I was surprised. It was excellent. A good thin based pizza, excellent vino and charming service. It's as good as it ever was. Well worth a visit.

We both had pizza, designed our own toppings, excellent taste, very satisfield. Service was excellent with good craic. Atmosphere was very quaint with traditional looking Italian Bistro style and some lovely finishing touches on the walls, very nice. Best stop if you fancy a pizza.

On our first visit to Fat Freddy's must say we were disappointed. All tables are on top each other. Couldn't relax. Had to move my chair few times let people past. My daughter got sandwich. The bread was cheap and good few days old. I had wrap and it was not good. We felt bit rushed there. Its place more... More

We are a young couple down for just one night in Galway.. After leaving dinner til the last minute we were worried we wouldn't find somewhere to take us at 9:50pm. After stubbling upon Fat Freddys we were welcomed in and seated straight away! The restaurant was busy with a great atmosphere. Could not fault the service or the food!... More

Popped in here with my mother while doing some Christmas shopping. My mother was reluctant as she isn't a pizza person but I was absolutely starving. My pizza was delicious and my mother was pleasantly surprised by her carbonara. The service was friendly and efficient, the staff recognising that we were only in for a pit stop.
