Had the Stromboli minus the meat as a recommendation from our very helpful server (wished i'd remembered her name). This ended up being a treat. A little pricey but given the area we were in it was right in-line with expectation. A good place to eat outside in the fun Spanish Arch area. Very solid choice.

Really nice meal in a lovely setting. Menu is very varied with something to suit all tastes. Service was very good and staff really friendly.

For a restaurant that calls itself Fat Freddy's I was rather disillusioned with the size of some of their dishes. I ordered the nachos, one of their lunch menu specials and, for €9.95, was expecting greater quality and quantity. Looking around at what the waitresses were bringing the other diners, it seems you get a more satisfying lunch if you... More

I had not visited this little pizza place in years until yesterday. It was always a nice treat for a family day out in Galway. Therefore, it is not surprising that it didn't take much to convince my siblings to go back for a visit. We were seated immediately upon arrival, which is always nice. The decor in the restaurant... Fat Freddy's has been a favourite of my family's for many many years and it is a must whenever any of us are in Galway. We would agree with all the positives listed. However, my wife and I were so extremely disappointed, on Sep 2nd last, with the response we received having ordered lunch. My wife suffers from nut allergies... More

We found the pizza very tasty and enjoyed sitting outdoors. The city itself is trendy and this restaurant too was trendy. The atmosphere added to the entire experience. Would definitely eat there again.

We were with 7 other people headed for one of the tourist restaurants people outside gave thumbs up. We went in and had a fantastic meal of Italian food. The classic brucette and the pocket dishes were fabulous. The prices reasonable. The entire group left very happy

Fat Freddy's is my girlfriend and my "safety blanket" of where to eat in Galway. So if we can't think off anywhere else or want to know exactly what we're gonna get we end up here. Food is good, but not super exciting. The menu is large so variety is always assured and service is fast and friendly. Issues would... More

This restaurant is a small, cosy choice in Galway City. It has seating both inside and out. We were seated quickly (despite it being very busy) and the waitress was very friendly. Unfortunately they were all out of ribs but we ordered pasta, chicken wings and chips along with cheesecake for dessert and everything was really nice. Good choice for... More

Generous portions but the Mexican was bland and the service was a bit disorganized. It was fun to people watch, though we had better dining experiences in Galway.
