Stopped here back on way to Galway to eat mainly because of the seafood restaurant sign on the building. however I was a little dissapointed that there wasnt more of a seafood choice. But no complaints of the food we did order it was excellent.Sat outside in blazing sunshine and have to say service... read more

Definitely a place to eat if your in the area, a good selection of seafood to try, and some good specials throughout the summer, the chowder is something that has to be tried, creamy and full of fish and shellfish, that alone is a meal in itself. The waitresses will accommodate you in any changes you'd like to make on... More

I've been here a couple of times in the last few months and while the setting is fantastic and the staff are lovely and very professional, the hefty prices undermine it all. A particular low-light are the "potato boats" which are possibly the most shockingly over-priced thing that I have ever seen on any menu anywhere! I may be wrong... More

We stopped for food and it was well portioned, arrived quickly and was very tasty. The theme is a bit overdone but if you are traveling through area and need a quick bite you could do a lot worse.

OK had my dad, slightly disabled over for a visit and was looking for accommodation for 3 adults and two kids. As I as driver wanted to enjoy a pint and some music and we opted for this place. Regretfully there was a small stairs but compared to European there is no angle which would enable a person who is... More

We stopped here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Good home cooking - the chowder was especially good. We had a dog with us so we sat outside and the staff were very accommodating.

I haven't been to Padraicíns for a number of years but having heard some good comments about it lately I decided to book a confirmation meal for 12 people there. I have to say the selection (Early Bird Menu) which they offered was very good and very reasonably priced. Some people thought the roast beef they had there was the... More

Probably 15-20 minutes from Galway City but worth every minute of the journey. A brilliant seafood specialist restaurant, perched on a low promentary overlooking Gslwsy Bay. For those who prefer something 'unfishy' there's plenty to choose from. The lamb stew is particularly tasty! Other than the spectacular views over the bay, the real reason to visit is the beautiful fish/seafood... More

The place to eat. We have had dinner at padraicins twice. We had crab and seafood chowder for starters which was very good. We have tried 8 different main dishes and all of them were good. The seafood were top of the dishes. Staff is friendly and food is served with fast and with a smile. All in all a... More
