Excellent stop

Stopped here for brunch during a motorbike trip with friends, had some absolutely great scones and reasonable coffee.

Great seafood dishes and wonderful Irish bread and butter, but this time we had the best tasting and largest burger I've ever seen....maybe 1/2 to 2/3 pound of great Irish beef. Hypnotizing views of the Atlantic and very nice and attentive wait-staff.

I have eaten here twice. They have the best seafood chowder I have ever eaten. Plenty of yummy fresh catch in the chowder, wonderful flavor.

Right on the beach perfect spot for a nice meal or drink after a day on Furbo beach. Looking over Galway Bay. 7 good value rooms upstairs and a great breakfast.

My boyfriend and his mother brought me here for sea food chowder. It was amazing! That, and the view makes it definitely worth a visit.

Definitely a place to eat if your in the area, a good selection of seafood to try, and some good specials throughout the summer, the chowder is something that has to be tried, creamy and full of fish and shellfish, that alone is a meal in itself. The waitresses will accommodate you in any changes you'd like to make on... More

I've been here a couple of times in the last few months and while the setting is fantastic and the staff are lovely and very professional, the hefty prices undermine it all. A particular low-light are the "potato boats" which are possibly the most shockingly over-priced thing that I have ever seen on any menu anywhere! I may be wrong... More

We stopped for food and it was well portioned, arrived quickly and was very tasty. The theme is a bit overdone but if you are traveling through area and need a quick bite you could do a lot worse.
