Watch the World Go By.

If it's warm enough and even sunny make your way down to the Quays and get a pint of the black stuff. Get a seat outside an watch the world of visitors to Galway walk by up and down Quay Street. I haven't eaten here but the pint was great.

This place was highly recommanded on several other website but i was the worst food I had since ever! First, when we arrived, the table was all sticky as the counter next to me. We were close to the kitchen, so we could see all the dishes coming out, this is the first time that I see the bread coming... More

The staff in the Quays were lovely. Efficient and friendly, but unfortunately the food was a bit of a let down. I opted for the boiled bacon with parsley sauce and cabbage and if that was what I had got it would have lovely, but for some reason it came with four different types of potato. I'm sorry but one... We had lunch here on Wednesday last and I can guarantee I will never set foot inside this pub again. Prawns and Garlic mushrooms were our starter choice and they were not good, served with an awful salad. Mains were Bacon and Cabbage and Quiche, the quiche was soggy and again served with the same awful salad. I asked for... More

Quay's is located on main Quay Street (ofcourse!).. and the place has a very good vibe. A good mix on pub and restaurant. The place is rather compact, but has lot of character.

Came in here for a drink, and was immediately charmed by the décor and the live music. Staff were very friendly and the place was busy but not packed. Well worth a visit.

I went with to The Quays after having a business dinner. It was more a pub than a restaurant. The place is small and tend to be crowded and busy. Good beer selection, service so,so.

Excellent food and service! Fun bar atmosphere as well! Even on a Monday night there is a band and a crowd! If you like a bustling atmosphere; you need to check it out!

Sprawling space with seating on different levels. Try the oysters &/or other seafood menu items. Variety of beers on draught to choose from. Good service. Good place to relax @ noontime & watch the people walk by.

We love traditional Irish pub food. We´ve have lunch or dinner in many pubs in Dublin, Cork, Waterford... and this has been the worst experience in Ireland due to the food. We had as starter prawns. In fact they were 4 tiny prawns "swiming" in a sauce with a strange salad. The main courses (beef guinness stew and poached salmon... More
