Nice food and great atmosphere

The food was really nice and the three meal option is really nice. I recommend the Seafood chowder and the apple pie. It is easy to go the bar after it which makes it even nicer. The waitress were very friendly.

My friends and I had the most lovely dinner before going out. Enjoyed some great food and quaint atmosphere. The server went out of her way to take care of us and gave us several bar recommendations. That made our experience extra special.

Did not eat here but it is worth stopping in just for a drink even if you don't want to eat. Very cozy atmospheric pub on the main pedestrian street in Galway.

We made a bad choice when we entered this place. We were given a table sharing with several other people in a dark cellar area at the back of the pub. There was pressure to choose quickly and the food arrived just as quickly which was ominous. It had obviously been sitting around for a while and my wife said... More

Very traditional irish pub. Great selection of beers. Great decoration and atmosphere. The band was very nice. Good place to go out.

I would agree with other reviews that it is more of a pub atmosphere than a restaurant. For instance, if at football game is on there are large cheering crowds. So, it may not be the best place for a family with small children. But otherwise, the price is fair and the food and service were great.

Visit this place if you are looking more for a pub experience. However if you come only looking for great food and service, you could be disappointed. Great vibe in night, and fairly crowded.

Visited the Quays Restraunt after a recommendation from my husbands relative from Galway. Very glad we did , the service was friendly & the food came out very quick. Reasonably priced & generous serving sizes. Would go back :)
