We have been to the Quays bar/restaurant several times and it is always busy and full of atmosphere, there is great live music most nights. We have not eaten there but it is always very busy so I imagine the food is good. I would recommend the Quays for a great night out (may not be very good for young... More

I went there on Thursday night and the live music was awesome! The bar was completely full and the atmosphere is excellent! A place to go if you stay in Galway!

Quaint restaurant featuring locally sourced seafood that could not get much fresher than the docks out back. Good, friendly service

We had a blast at the bar. It does get crowded at night, however, there are a few levels and bars open to get a drink, listen to music, and enjoy the atmosphere. We had a blast. A good place for drinks at night with friends!

This is a great little pub ... we had the oysters and seafood chowder ... the food is good -- the chowder is a GREAT choice -- and priced well. To sit in there is to be surrounded by church windows and church furniture salvaged from elsewhere. I love the atmosphere ... an ATM is tucked around a corner that... More

Had an evening meal in the quays after spotting it while we were out and about in galway. Its in the middle of the buz so was really busy. We managed to get a table which we were very happy with andthe food and prices were very reasonable, good service to.

The worst service we have EVER had. The food - The worst food we have EVER had. Things were served wrapped in plactic wrap. My husband had the seafood chowder - there was hardly any seafood in the chowder and very bland, I had the prawn appetizer...prawns were very small and were not fresh...frozen...the sides had No seasoning, the pasta... Visited the Quay about a week n a half ago. The service was friendly and the bar it self was typical. Massive portion plate but the taste was just ok.

Quay st in Galway has loads of lovely eateries, this is not one. In a hurry for dinner on a busy Saturday evening this was the only one that seemed to have a few seats available at around 7pm. I ordered traditional "Fish and Chips" and certainly the service was speedy and friendly. The meal that arrived certainly failed to... More

Couldn't believe the prices for a start, €18.95 for the "Irish Stew". My fiance got the fish and chips, my mother the roast. Veg tasted funny, very musty while the fish had the texture of chicken even though they claimed it was fresh. Layout and menu's reminded me of a cafeteria though with Hilton prices. In all fairness the serving... More
