I came back especially for your wonderfull steak. We had such a good time that we booked also for the 25th of september (for... More

We ate dinner at the Dail Bar two evenings during our stay in Galway. Both times, though they were busy, orders were taken and meals served in a reasonable amount of time. Sweet potato and chick pea curry was nicely seasoned and a generous quantity served. The beef and Guiness stew was hearty and flavorful in an ample portion size.... More

We had hamburgers and they were very good. This pub gets very busy and it is lively and fun. Service is very good but you may have to go to the bar to order. Try it.

We were looking for a bite to eat and couldn't decide until we saw a sign, which said Steak, Chips, Fried Onions and a Pint €16.95. So we reckoned we couldn't go wrong with that, and you know what we didn't. It was a real size, beautifully cooked, rare Sirloin, chips, deep fried onions, mushrooms and a pint of Bud,... More

We always visit the Dail bar every time we are in Galway, and each time had a good experience, however this time around was very disappointing. I went there with my husband and kids for dinner. We were put sitting at a dirty table and it took a while before a waitress came to clean it up, then she disappeared... More

Went here with a group of freinds and we all had 'pie' type meals which were all spud and hardly any filling. I know the Irish like their potatos but this was a bit much! There were chips on the side too. When I got down to the end, the 'pie' filling was good but please lay off on the... More

Hi Ahren K, Thank you for your recent review of The Dáil Bar. We are very fond of the potato in these parts but we may have overdone it ever so slighty on your visit. As you can see from previous posts, our food receives glowing reviews so hopefully the next time your in town, you can call in and... More

We went to The Dail Bar for drinks after been very rudely treated at Naughton's across the road because we were a Hen Party group. The staff and service here made up for it as we were welcomed and treated respectfully. Staff were very polite and efficient. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Lovely decor, bathrooms spotless. Will defiantly return and would highly... More

We have been to Galway several times and we always make our way back to the Dail bar. The staff are friendly and efficient, the food is great with traditional dishes like beef & Guinness hotpot & roast chicken which are excellent. The pub has a very relaxed welcoming atmosphere, I would highly recommend the Dail bar.

They were serving dinner later than many of the nearby pubs. The Beef & Guinness Stew was the best I have ever had! So delicious. The staff was also very nice and the bartender upstairs was very helpful. We needed to put in a call to our bed and breakfast because it was getting late and we still had to... More

We looked for a place to eat in Galway that was off the main area and we found the Dail Bar where we had a great meal. This is a two story place and we eat upstairs looking out one of the windows. The food was served quickly and it was one of the best meals we had in Galway.... More
