My husband and I dined here during our recent visit in Galway. Had a great seat overlooking the street. We both had steak and they were very good! Cool atmosphere.

A regular haunt in Galway. Good place to chill and have goods beers. The service is excellent, very friendly, helpful and efficent. I travel all over Ireland and I have to say its one of the best places for hot wings. Juicy & spicy goes great with Peroni. They do a good steak & drink deal also. Great spot

My husband and I stopped in for a few drinks on May 30th. We needed a little break from shopping and the rain!! We ended up staying for supper and everything was delicious. Staff were working hard keeping up with the busy day!! Sunday am I asked my husband how much dinner was. He told me that he didn't pay.... More

If I was by myself I would give it a 4 because my mackerel was wonderful but my husband's first choice was not available (and we were early dinners) and his fish and chips were so so. But we did have a nice table upstairs overlooking the street and it was a nice experience. Service was Ok but not great.... More

Hello, Thank you for your recent review of The Dáil Bar. Due to the fact that we prepare, cook and serve all our food fresh on a daily basis, there are times when we do run short. At peaks times, it can be difficult to predict what products will sell well. We always strive to offer equal if not better... More

We went here our first night in Galway. We took our two small children and they enjoyed the sausage and chips. I had the fish and chips, which was delicious, and my husband had the steak and chips, which he says were okay. The atmosphere is wonderful, we were upstairs next to a window. Service was great.

This place was beautiful! Our first visit was to the pub area for late night drinks. It was lively and lovely. We ate dinner there another night and sat upstairs at a quaint little table by a window so we could watch the town activity. The building is so old and beautiful and exactly what I would expect to find... More

Spent a Saturday night here recently with friends. 5 of us each drinking cocktails, reasonably priced and super quick service. Staff are so friendly and had a laugh with us. Will definitely be back.

We ate here on both our nights in Galway, and have nothing but praise for the ample amount of good food and the friendly service. Many thanks to Emma S and Sarah.
