Stumbled upon this place whilst looking for somewhere for dinner. We went in and the pub itself has great character and plenty of whisky to choose from! Staff very friendly and made conversation. We had the Thai chicken chic pea curry and chefs special beef (basically sunday dinner) both dishes were very tasty and apparently the gravy was amazing! Was... More

Our tour stopped in Galway for a two hour stop. Our tour guide recommended the Dail Bar and so we went to check it out. The atmosphere was amazing, fireplaces, antique furniture and welcoming staff. We ordered food, I had the steak sandwich which was amazing and my husband had the goat cheese salad which he could not stop talking... More

A great atmosphere, friendly people and wide selection of beverages. A TV on the wall usually shows sports channels if you're interested and there's usually live music. A great place to have a few friends.

This time around however, I came by myself and there was a football game on which meant was quite busy. As I sat down multiple staff walked past me without even bothering to see if I wanted a drink.... More

I ended up coming here a few nights in a row, mainly due to the great service (thanks Johno) and the fact that it was open until 2 am every night. Didn't have any of the delicious looking cocktails but they were certainly being ordered by the bucket load! Had dinner 1 night also, great food!
