Description: The Dáil Bar and Restaurant has already become a firm favourite to both Galway residents and visitors alike with its stunning décor that is both impressive and comfortable at the same time evoking a relaxed warm atmosphere that just draws you in like your favourite local. Situated on the intersection of Middle Street and Cross St right in the heart of the city it really is a beautiful bar to visitThe Dáil is decorated in a wonderfully traditional manner with beautifully carved oak bars, feature fireplaces ,stunning staircases and many a cosy corner to while away an evening. The downstairs bar has a warm inviting local pub feel where you can relax and enjoy your favourite drink in a comfortable environment, chat to friends, and get to know the friendly bartender or just absorb the atmosphere and many hidden features that the bar has to find! The Dáil is also a restaurant serving top class food at Pocket friendly prices all day everyday. The varied and enticing menu really does go above and beyond a traditional pub menu.

Ate here one Friday evening after arriving to Galway late from work, hungry! I had steak my husband had a burger, both were good quality meat, nicely presented. Comfy clean bar with friendly staff. Nice glass of red, would definitely return for food when in Galway next.

Eat upstairs. My mom and I had so much fun though I was hoping she wasn't listening to the lyrics of the music! The music was a bit loud before some of the other tables filled up but then it was fine. Good food ,good atmosphere.

Visited here again as on my last visit I gave a five star review so obviously looked forward to visiting again. We were very happy with the food and our waitress a small Brown haired girl was outstanding. Despite seeming to be on the floor on her own she was super fast, efficient and somehow managed a smile and kind... More

Circumstances: Stag pub crawl on a Saturday night, gang of lads.. Venue: Busy but not too busy, wait for a drink was about 4/5mins. Good atmosphere without being overcrowded. Tunes were a strange one, they were good tunes, bit random like as if it was a dukebox but I'm sure there was a dj. Staff: Bar staff in the upstairs... More

Dined here yesterday, The place was very busy as it was a bank holiday Monday. Got a table upstairs. The waitress was very nice, helpful and efficient. I had fish, chips and mushy peas. The peas were a little on the cold side and the the fish was overcooked. But it tasted good all the same. My wife had turkey... More
