Situated on the intersection of Middle Street and Cross St right in the heart of the city it really is a beautiful bar to visitThe Dáil is decorated in a wonderfully traditional manner with beautifully carved oak bars, feature fireplaces ,stunning staircases and many a cosy corner to while away an evening. The downstairs bar has a warm inviting local pub feel where you can relax and enjoy your favourite drink in a comfortable environment, chat to friends, and get to know the friendly bartender or just absorb the atmosphere and many hidden features that the bar has to find! The Dáil is also a restaurant serving top class food at Pocket friendly prices all day everyday. The varied and enticing menu really does go above and beyond a traditional pub menu.

The food was brilliant. Lovely warm bar & restaurant. The staff were most helpfull and seemed happy at their job even though the place was really busy. Just slightly surprised that there was only one set of toilets which were down in the basement. They were clean and well maintained though.

Just had a few drinks here after being out for dinner in Galway. Its a lovely cozy pub with 2 open fires either end of the pub. It was a Friday evening and there was good live music. The staff were very good and friendly.

had a lunch there during the oyster festival, and the quality/value for money was great, so much so that it became our meeting and resting point during our three days in Galway city.

Fantastic bar in a great location just off Quay Street, a warm and friendly welcome from the bar staff. The Guinness was great and the craic was ninety. Many thanks we look forward to returning on our next visit to Galway! Sláinte!

I occasionally pass through for a few pints and food, myself and my partner got the turkey and ham dinner it was delicious. When passing through town for a safe bet I can always rely on The Dail for a few good pints and music and of course reasonably priced hearty food. The service is second to none but what... More
