We have been to Galway several times and we always make our way back to the Dail bar. The staff are friendly and efficient, the food is great with traditional dishes like beef & Guinness hotpot & roast chicken which are excellent. The pub has a very relaxed welcoming atmosphere, I would highly recommend the Dail bar.

They were serving dinner later than many of the nearby pubs. The Beef & Guinness Stew was the best I have ever had! So delicious. The staff was also very nice and the bartender upstairs was very helpful. We needed to put in a call to our bed and breakfast because it was getting late and we still had to... More

We looked for a place to eat in Galway that was off the main area and we found the Dail Bar where we had a great meal. This is a two story place and we eat upstairs looking out one of the windows. The food was served quickly and it was one of the best meals we had in Galway.... More

Had dinner there with the whole family on the first floor. Superb steak. Nice and clean place and a buzzing atmosphere. We loved it.

The chicken wings were tasty but the beetroot & rocket salad with chilli hummus was fantastic. Freshly prepared and with great presentation, it hit the spot! The service was fine and friendly and they had a few craft beer options too. For an easy place to get a bite to eat and a drink, you can't complain.

We wenr here for lunch Sunday and both ordered the roast chicken special. It was just ok. My dinner was just warm when it reached me and there was a clear difference between the temperature of my chicken dish and the vegetables that came on the side. The dinner was tasty but nothing special and I wouldn't be in a... More

Can't recommend this bar/ restaurant enough. Whether it's a few day time drinks you are after or somewhere to go before hitting the clubs this place is perfect. With a great range of craft beers and friendly staff you are in safe hands. There is something on the menu for everyone and the food is very tasty at reasonable prices.... More

I was in Galway during a study abroad trip, and every night we had free time to roam the city/town we were in and get dinner and do whatever. So our first night, four of us walked up and down the streets near our hotel before finding The Dail Bar by chance. We were there at an awkward-ish time, like... More
