Excellent fish lunch

This small restaurant totally lived up to it's reputation. The lunch was simply excellent. A starter of Queen scallops was pricey but the helping was generous and the quality superb. A main course of sole on the bone was also excellent and a reasonably priced Picpoul white wine was a perfect... read more

Peter Caviston and his restaurant are amazing!having visited there twice in the past, once 15 years ago and another time 10 years ago, we were definitely going back this time. We made our reservations well ahead of time (make sure you do, as they only have about 12 tables and do only 3-4 well timed servings a day) and arrived... More

Excellent eatery in Dun Laoghaire! Great choice of dishes, service was friendly and prices although were slightly on the high was still worth it.

Back again and called twice in the week I was here. This required forward booking. I know I should eat fish but at home Wales it is a Hard fo find. I am a meat man really. Here I just love the fish, simply cooked to with all the flavour, lovely salad and potatoes. if it were nearer home I... More

We were visiting Ireland for the first time and instead of staying right in Dublin, we did a home swap via home exchange with a lovely family just up the road from this restaurant. I'm so happy we wound up staying here near Glasthule or we would have missed eating in this adorable little restaurant. We'd flown overnight from New... More

This restaurant is round the corner from a stunning coastal view. It is relatively smail seating 20-25 people per seating. Booking is absolutley essential. There are 3 sittings at lunch time, 12pm, 1.30pm and 3pm. Four of us visited on a Friday lunchtime and the restaurant was full with several people walking in to see if they could get a... More

Went for an evening meal, not our first visit but it had been a good six months from our last. Service was very good and the food was even better. Will be back a joy to go to.

We had waited a year since our last vacation to eat here. It was well worth the wait. The best appetizer and entree we have ever had in a seafood restaurant. Their food market next door is awesome as well.

Nice fresh fish in a tiny rather cramped little restaurant. The lunch is the best value but you have to stick to their timings which may not suit, I think it's 12, 13.30, 15.00 or some such. Evenings are expensive - at least €50 per person.
