Quirky Eccentric Place

Was there for a Socrates Cafe meet Up and as a first timer it took a while for the place to grow on me but it did in the end. I even tried the bar food which was rushed in from nearby Camile Thai Restaurant (that was great food) The style is more shabby chic kind of retro but heavy... read more

I love it here. Great atmosphere with its old fashioned wall paper, coloured lampshades and battered sofas. Its definitely retro and has been around well before the hipster craze so it gets a great mix of people and the crowd isn't too young. They do movie nights here too where they will show a film on the big screen and... More

Found this pub really unusual... Initially we thought it was a bit of a dump, when in fact it turned out a lovely quirky pub! Everything is retro from wallpaper to lampshades. Bar staff very friendly. Definitely worth popping in for a pint :)

I popped in with pals before Christmas for a midweek pint, There was a great buzz and festive atmosphere. We sampled a few of there craft beers and ended up playing who wants to be a million are with a bunch of students. It brought back pleasant memories of life before work and mortgage.

This is a great pub with a great mix of people and live music every night-best pub in Dunlaoire. I always found the people there very friendly-never ate here but can get takeaway from place across the Road

Have been a few times. Whenever I come home to visit, it is my go to bar. Great selection of beers, good value and service, fun atmosphere and the interior looks very cool. Lots of interesting entertainment in the evenings too. I wish this pub was in Prague where I live now. Would always be there!

Had a night here with friends. Happened to be Halloween night and it was great craic. They reserved a seating area for us as I contacted them in advance to let them know I was having a gathering. The staff are always friendly and very helpful

Really the only pub I bother with in Dun Laoghaire. It is shabby chic with old sofas and chairs, an open fire in winter, lots of odd pictures and weird lampshades with old wallpaper...not original in its decor but comfy and relaxed. You can get great food delivered from Camille Thai across the road. They are really helpful organising parties... More

Definitely one of my favourite bars in Dun Laoghaire. Really nice atmosphere, interesting decor, and a great range of beers and whiskeys. Reasonably priced as well.
