Definitely one of my favourite bars in Dun Laoghaire. Really nice atmosphere, interesting decor, and a great range of beers and whiskeys. Reasonably priced as well.

I ended up at this pub on my last evening in Dublin based on a recommendation from my Airbnb host. It has a very unique, creative and at once both private and communal atmosphere. They have an excellent beer selection that follows both the traditional and wide range of smaller batch beers. Service was excellent as well. I was there... More

Lovely pub with a lot of character and atmosphere. They have comfy sofas downstairs and also some board games that can be used free of charge. One of my favourite places around Dun Laoghaire.

Great pub, lots of choices of beer, friendly punters. A place that doesn't take itself too seriously and staff that seem to enjoy there job. Best bar in Dun Laoghaire by a country mile.

Was here with college friends and I must say I love the place. It's a regular hang out spot for our college students and I can easily see why. The atmosphere or vibe if you will is so relaxed and easy going. The staff are very friendly so much so that they were handing out free chocolate biscuit cake, which... More

Spent a week hanging out at this pub every night while staying in Dun Laoghaire. From the first night I walked in I was made to feel at home and part of the family. The pub is decorated with a wonderful mashup of second hand couches and chairs set up so you can enjoy quiet conversation with a group of... More

Love this place. What a great idea. There are mismatched sofas, chairs and furniture, all second hand. Feels like you're at home in your living room having a take away and beer. Food can be ordered from the thai place (camille) across the road. And you'll be given a plate, forks and knives from the bar, food is delivered. The... More

Great staff, lovely atmosphere, very cool decor, nice smoking area, very good music selection and gigs, and the food is delicious, would recommend the red curry and a beer bucket!

Gilbert and Wright is "cool". Seating is set out like being in someones living room. Bar staff are friendly. Drinks selection is vast and varied. The walls and ceiling are covered in old album covers and you can play Jenga and other board games with your friends. My only complaint is they play their music just too loudly for me.... More

A gem of a pub. Decor is fab and we had a laugh with the lounge girl. I think her name was Maria. The atmosphere was great and unlike some modern pubs we could actually hear ourselves speak. We will deff return
