Coffee and home back treat plus Light meals.

We gave been here a number of times for coffee and snacks. Home bakes are delicious with a good choice. There is a lot more on offer and one day we hope to return and be more adventurous.

Such a nice warm café to visit, with the freshest homemade produce on offer, which is always wholesome and tasty. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and friendly and the place has such a lovely atmosphere, you just tend to stay on relaxing with another coffee. Their berry scones really are amazing, and more importantly they... More

I went into Poppies recently on a recommendation and was not disappointed. The coffee is great, the staff are friendly and their rocky road squares are delicious! They've also got a deli with a wide choice of breads and fillings - I'm looking forward to trying them next time!

I have been a fan of Poppies for several years, my friends and I like to go here for breakfast after swimming.....until recently. I believe in second chances but a third is a strike out. Recently we have had their breakfast and while adding Tabasco to their menu is welcoming......it is not sufficient. The sausage was not only reheated but... More

Dear David, Thank you for taking the time to write another review, I hoped it would have been better. To answer your questions, we have the same full time cook and we use the same suppliers, we also have some new staff and I think I will have to have a word with them, they should have checked with you... I'm wisiting this lovely poverty with my family every Saturday. Staff is always so friendly and polite, always smiling and have a good manners. It's always clean there and smells like fresh baked pancakes. My family enjoys food each time when we are going there. I highly recommended to try this place, it perfect for family and couples. ☕🍲

Stopped in to this lovely place on a Saturday morning recently and what a great place it was. The staff were very pleasant and chatty which is lovely and sometimes missing these days. The coffee and scones were great in pretty surroundings and the lunch menu looked very appetizing. Will be calling here again when next I visit Dun Laoghaire.

Went for lunch with 3 other people on a Saturday in July. Cafe remained almost empty.Food very average with limited menu. Very poor side salad comprising cole slaw, grated carrot ,cucumber, lettuce, with absolutely no dressing whatsoever. Good lasagne, not too heavy. Service was very good and pleasant. Toilet facilities very poor. Hand dryer broken and not working. No towel, tissues... More

Was here on a Sunday. Very nice staff, nice setting but the food was a let down. We both had the pies and my chicken and cream sauce pie was just a tad odd, covered in cornflakes and almonds it was just passable. Perhaps nice out of the oven but not once microwaved. Coffees were good but the desert was... More
