We had a lovely seafood risotto. The restaurant is nicely decorated-according to current trends. Love the lamps! This restaurant has awesome view over the harbour - the best beer garden in Dun Laoghiare! Or perhaps in Dublin itself.

We ate there twice in a week. Once on our own and a second time with a large group (we were in Dun Laoghaire for a sailing event). I really liked that the choices were fairly limited - 6 starters, 5 types of Pizza, 5 Pastas and 6 mains. It gives me confidence that they will cook what the have... More

Eaten at this restaurant twice most recently at a company event. The food they provided was excellent and I have never come across such happy and helpful staff. If the weather is good you can sit outside in a garden area with great views of the harbour.

Just stopped for a quick bite to eat and delighted we did. I expected dark pub type fare and ended up in a bright and welcoming restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. I had a love pasta ragu. The sauce was delicious, clearly cooked from scratch with a lovely fresh tomato taste. My husband had a brilliant pizza, thin base cooked... More

Hi Thanks for your review which is great to read. Just to clarify on the pasta, the ragu is served with our house pappardelle pasta, which is a wide ribbon pasta that we make daily in-house. Some of our other pasta dishes (bucatini, linguini) use dried pasta as they go better with the respective ingredients/sauces but a ragu is always... More

We have dined in Oliveto couple of times and keep coming back - the food is really lovely. The view to the pier is very nice so if it is dinner in the evening with your loved one or few beers in the garden with friends - the atmosphere is always nice. Food: we have had a different things from... More

Restaurant is located in the Kingston Hotel, right across from the East Pier, with fabulous sea views and a great garden for those unfortunately too rare sunny days! Pizzas are large, with a great thin crust and nice choice of toppings. Very good pasta sauces, but pasta itself could have used another minute or so cooking, and I always eat... More

Recommended by some colleagues who had recently stayed in the area, we visited Oliveto the evening we landed in Dublin from the US. The staff welcomed us on a Monday night even though we didn't have a reservation and we enjoyed a table with a view of the sea. The restaurant is being remodeled but still has a cozy, intimate...
