Sit upstairs with a view of the harbour

Toscana is a very pleasant local restaurant, friendly service and good value food. The view of the harbour from the second floor is quite beautiful.

Dined here during a recent stay in Dun Laoghaire and it was excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is of a very high standard. The booking was made on line and confirmed by the restaurant next day, although the requested table was not offered when we arrived, this was soon rectified by the waiter. The atmosphere... More

Ate here with some colleagues recently and would not recommend a visit here, Milano probably offers better quality & value for money. Food overly seasoned, either with pepper (main course) or pesto (starter). Pasta dish totally uninspiring, a tomato salsa was in fact tomato sauce/fondue. Although restaurant was quiet, service was sporadic and in no way friendly. Overall disappointing and... More

Got a very nice deal in menupages for this one for two courses from the a la carte menu and two glasses of prosecco (one each) on arrival. We were so happy with everything after our wonderful two course meal we also order desserts and coffees. The service is great. The food is glorious and they have a very nice... More

Delighted yet again with another great meal in Toscana's In Dun Laoghaire. We were made feel so welcome with great friendly attention from the staff. Will want to have their menu with me when I come to choose my last meal on death row! It's a little italian oasis on the east coast. We'll be back.

We try and visit this prticular restaurant any time we pay a visit to the town. Unfortunately on our last visit, one of our company was in a wheelchair and was unable to weightbear and thus not able to use the 2/3 small steps into the ground floor. However on a previous visit we all enjoyed the fabulous food on... More

Absolutely excellent Italian food! Great ambience...sit outside if the weather allows. And afterwards, take a walk along the harborfront for a great evening out. The risotto was really good, with individual vegetables and herbs, not the usual "mush" that passes for the dish in most restaurants. The Penne All'Arrabiata con Pollo had plenty of chicken, and plenty of chillis! A... More

Good nice restaurant, been here several times now. Allways good hot food, nice service. The prices is a little high compared to what you get. A thing that is not cool is when you order a cola, you can see the waiter pull it up from a 2 litre bottel in the bar. Makes you feel stupied if you look... More
