The food was just perfect, so much flavour. The problem was trying to pick from the menu, there were so many great options. We were there for lunch but there was a good atmosphere. Definitely will return.

I reviewed this restaurant before and I rated it highly, in fact I said it was so good, in my opinion it was the standard for others to reach. My wife and I visited again recently and we continue to be impressed. The kitchen continues to deliver a high standard (try the poached egg salad in a light crispy batter... More

My husband took me to dinner at Bistro One to celebrate my birthday. It was the perfect treat! Our evening began by being warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. We took a seat at their beautiful new bar and sampled the most divine cocktails; mine being the mandarin sour - I'd highly recommend! I ordered a second it... More

I've eaten here many times over a number of years and find the food always reliably delicious. Good selection on the menu and wine list, not over-priced and always enjoyable.

I dined here in October with a party of 12 and was very disappointed that even though we had booked in advance so they knew a large party were coming several items on the menu were not available. To add insult to injury 2 of the party were not told there choice was not available (one was) and another fish... More

First of al, this restaurant is in Foxrock, in South County Dublin (its post code is Dublin 18). It is not in Dun Laoghaire which is approximately 4 miles to the east. Having said that, it is probably the best restaurant in South Dublin. Any restaurant that is frequented and almost completely booked out by the locals speaks for itself.... More

We love this restaurant. Everything about it - the staff, the ambiance, the food and the wine. Table linens, gleaming glasses.

Bistro One is located above a number of small shops in Foxrock Village. First thing one notices is that the stairway entrance is quite narrow. The restaurant itself is clearly the result of amalgamating the floor space of what would have previously been different establishments. This gives a somewhat disjointed feel to the place. Perhaps to cater for its popularity... More

Brought the folks out for dinner recently. Table booked for 8.30, Left at the top of the stairs at the edge of the bar in the way of the staff. Pretty poor start to the eve. Venue is very awkwardly laid out. At the top of the stairs they have an open office, looks untidy should be covered/closed. Seated little... More
