So delighted we we were given a voucher for here at Xmas and went for dinner this evening. Placed our for order and our wine order at the same time and 20 mins later our starter arrived but no wine. Had to call a waitress to remind her that we ordered wine. When the wine arrived we asked for a... More

Bistro one is a classic suburban restaurant. Nice inoffensive food and good service. A clientele that I guess is made up of regular customers who want few surprises aren't disappointed. Personally thought it a bit dull but that is a matter of taste. Excellent friendly staff and highly attentive service. Carpets in the restaurant keep the noise levels down which... More

Meeting friends on a Saturday and we dined at Bistro One, in the village of Foxrock in South County Dublin. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Wonderful atmosphere, excellent menu that delivered beautifully, and attentive and friendly service from start to finish. We’ll be back.

Gorgeous food and very pleasant staff. Such a lovely cosy restaurant. Only there once but will definitely be back. Great variety on menu too. Glad I found it.

Visited this restaurant after a game of golf nearby. It is situated upstairs over a shop and is very cramped. It was full the night we were there and it looked like extra tables had been shoved in to accommodate the crowd. I had salmon which was rather overcooked and dry. Expensive for what it was.

Recently visited with friends. Very efficient service and good food at reasonable prices.Fixed and a la carte menus very good value. Will certainly return. While I can see space is a problem the lack of an area to meet for a comfortable pre-dinner drink is a gap. Billy

I find it a little difficult to make up my mind about this restaurant which is based in the heart of Foxrock Village in South County Dublin. The restaurant is situated upstairs on the first floor and is spacious and bright. The food is generally good, well-prepared and the staff are pleasant but there are some things that bother me.... It's along story how a couple of Texans found their way here but we were grateful that we found it. House was full but they made room for us at the bar and we had a perfectly delightful bistro-style dinner. The food was excellent and the service very polished and gracious. We really enjoyed it.

Intimate and comfortable surroundings. Consistently excellent food and service. Mark, the owner, makes the dining experience so special that almost all patrons are regulars and new customers inevitably become regulars.
