This is a must stop on a trip to dublin! This place is always buzzing, great atmosphere and huge portions of good, filling mexican food. Would definitely recommend a deep fried ice cream for afters! Located pretty centrally so it is easy to get to and the service has always been great.

We came here for dinner and was pleased to see the restaurant quite busy. The atmosphere was warm and the staff were pleasant however it was clear to see that there was not enough staff and they were rushed off their feet which at times we were waiting a while for drinks and food to be served. I was very... More

How can a restaurant which serves up such tasteless slop call itself Mexican. My starter was a sad offering of soft chorizo nachos (most likely heated in microwave) accompanied by a insipid green attempt at salsa. Main vegetarian course consisted of red and yellow peppers with goats cheese enclosed in thick chemically tasting batter. Mexican!! No refried beans, in fact... More

Love this restaurant. Quite expensive but it's not like you go there every week. It's a treat. Love thee margaritas and haven't had any that good anywhere else (lord knows I have tried)! Food is good, love the sides and dips. Wasn't too mad about the share platter, felt some of the things on it were just frozen and not... More

The strawberry margaritas in this restaurant are fab - worth going just for them. Food choice is great and of our 4 meals 2 were excellent, 1 average and 1 very poor. The poor meal was the Diablo Chilli - advertised as fiery hot, it was dry, almost burnt, had no sauce and was quite tasteless, I'd definitely give it... More

Used to be a fan of this restaurant, but its standards have slipped. The portion sizes have been made smaller, the flavour lacking, and the service was inconsistent. We were forgotten about three times, no one bothered to check on our meal (a standard routine in any establishment), and there simply seemed to be a lack of manners and communication.... More

Acapulco serves fantastic Mexican food at affordable prices. The deep fried mars bar is to die for, as is everything else. By keeping its prices competitive it generates return customers who appreciate not being ripped off. The restaurant is a beautiful room, and the staff are lovely. My only complaint would be that it is too dark inside. Please turn... More

As a lunch choice, this is very well priced with a wide range of options for well under a tenner. I went for the soup and taco offer for €8.95. The soup was tasty and warming on a very unpleasant day. The beef taco was nice, if unremarkable. Overall, I rate it average because this is a very competitive part... More
