Cheap and cheerful

Visited for lunch with eork colleagues recently. Decent little lunch spot with a really cheap lunch menu. €10 for a restricted menu of starter and main course. Average garlic bread and pasta dishes, did the job! Tables quite cramped together, wouldn't return for dinner but would go again for work... read more

We popped in off the street for a bite to eat & was pleasantly surprised at the smiles greeting us & the warm abience of the place. It was very busy yet service was excellent, food arrived almost moments after we ordered & it was very tasty. Super service, delicious food, nice decor, would give it 5 star except the... More

Popped in here as was a single female diner and it looked welcoming. Excellent value with Early Bird menu. Although a Tuesday evening the restaurant was very busy and seemed a good few regulars which is always a good sign. Food presented very well and liked that was able to see where the cooking was being done. Would go again... More

the waiters are kind, but it's no sufficient to balance the poor quality of "pizza"... sorry but the real pizza is very different... from the ingredients, to the cooking (i don't want to talk about the leavenig... after 4 hours I'm still trying to digest it... )...

What a great find. We ate here on a busy Saturday night, tables are close together but as we were a group of 5 we had a more spacious table by the door. We took advantage of the early bird menu (before 8pm) 2 courses and a glass of wine for €15 Tasty and authentic. Would highly recommend

A cozy little restaurant with delicious food and friendly service. My boyfriend ordered the seafood paste, I took the cheese paste. The food was delicious, well seasoned and in good price

Recommended only for the lunch menu, very good value at around 10€, but otherwise wouldn't be too pushed. They serve a limited menu extremely quickly, but don't expect it to be real Italian food (the soup is just water with vegetables). The service is friendly and fast. Like an Italian from the 1980's.

Booked a meal for myself and daughter here on a Saturday evening. Restaurant looked very nice and authentic, food beautiful. criticisms are that the tables are very close together as mentioned by previous reviews and also we booked our table for 8.30 and starter came very quickly, once that had been taken away the main was there straight away. I... More

The Italian Connection has to be one of the best Italian restaurants outside of Italy, the food and the atmosphere almost had me thinking I was back in Venice! If you're in Dublin and love Italian then a visit here is a must.
