i always worry when i see really such reasonable prices in an italian restaurant but this joint is affordable and good quality. aubergine bake (great tomato sauce!) for starters and pizza for main, both were excellent. The owner served us and was very cheery and down to earth. good espresso too!

Looked in at luch time and saw a busy vibrant atmosphere so we looked forward to our evening meal. Waitress very attentive & helpful and the atmosphere with our seat near the window was good. The 2 diet cokes were rather flat so didn't come from a fresh bottle. Our request for some tap water was promptly met with 2... More

We had a good lunch without a reservation on an evening in 2011 and the service was good. The Pizza we got was good but nothing really special. It was a good restaurant with a lot of different wine. The restaurant had a good smell, when you came in.

One of life's little mysteries is why this place is not busier for breakfast? The one I had (poached eggs, coffee and toast) was excellent. Freshly prepared as you might expect with such a simple meal it was the extra touch of a few grilled mushrooms and half a juicy grilled tomato that were a pleasant surprise. The pleasantly strong... Nestled in the side streets off O'Connell, we happened upon this place, looking for breakfast en route from the airport to our hotel. And what a pleasant surprise! Tasty omelette and great coffee. Good price too! My friend noted how clean it was and that they even were cleaning the table plinths. We also had dinner here. ..well priced...those huge... More

For years I've been hearing about this place and that the sauce(s) are incredible. So I finally give in and go. Surely a place that's on Talbot St can't be that good but my god its unreal. Great friendly service and the food. Beautiful. Been to Rome myself and this is better than any sauce I tried there. Top marks.

There are lots of Italian eateries in Dublin, and we chose this one at random on a Sat evening. It was a very good choice, very reasonable prices, good friendly service and quickly served plentiful very tasty food. I would certainly return here if in Dublin again.

Me and my girlfriend had been coming back from a long journey around Ireland where we always ate typical Irish food. After two week we would have liked to find an italian restaurant because we had been missing a lot the "simple" and healtly italian food! (sorry guys, but italian food is the best) We found this small but very... More

On my last day in Ireland I stumbled on this place as it was only a few blocks from my hotel, north of the River Liffey. It's not the only Italian place on Talbot, but I liked the menu more than the others, and peeking into it I found it an attractive eatery. It was an odd time for lunch,... More
