We traveled to Ireland for the first time, this April, to celebrate my 60th birthday. There were six in our family. Landing on my birthday and staying near the castle, we thought that would be a perfect place to celebrate, based on the pictures and menu online. We made a reservations months in advance and my wife reached out on... More

So lets start by agreeing that this is a superb venue - and that we are reviewing this as "one of Dublin's top restaurants", recently awarded an AA Rosette. And its costs a lot (I paid €50 for two courses, a glass of wine and a coffee). I am happy to pay such prices but I do expect the menu... More

The restaurant has a mentioning from Michelin guide three years in a row. So our expectations were rather high. The staff was very professional and the service was excellent. However, the food was rather average and I actually send back my main course as the meat well done vs. medium rare I ordered. The staff handled this with out a... More

Are you looking for an elegant meal while in Dublin? Does dining on choice steak, sipping good wine, and inhaling the intoxicating aroma of lilies while surround by opulent dark wood furniture sound like what you are looking for? If so, I would highly recommend the Fahrenheit Grill. I'm not sure that they always have lilies, but they smelled divine... More

We ate there twice, as we stayed at The Clontarf Castle Hotel. The food was excellent and the service was even better. This would be a great restaurant for a special occasion. If you are staying at the hotel, book a package that includes dinner at this restaurant, because it seems pricey otherwise.

We enjoyed a four course meal as part of an overnight stay package in the hotel. The food and service were first class. I would highly recommend it. As part of a party of 12 - all 12 delighted with the quality of the food. Can't wait to go back.

Don't know if I just was caught up in the moment or just that I am a hopeless romantic, but everything about Clontarf Castle was just great. The service at the Fahrenheit was spot on. The food itself was some of the best I have ever eaten. I had dinned here in 2011 and had a great experience but not... More

My husband and I enjoyed a stunning 4 course meal at the Farenheit grill. Each course was as tasty ad the last. Impeccable service and presentation. We will be back!
