What a surprise

We had booked the Fahrenheit because we were visiting someone in the nearby hospital. What a surprise and treat we were in for. On first impression the restaurant is so inviting, live romantic music and friendly staff. Great service, not over the top , giving you time to relax. (Dress... read more

By the time we arrived for our two-night stay at the Clontarf Castle, we had had quite a long day! We started the morning in Belfast, toured Mount Stewart House in Bangor, found our way back to Belfast and on to Dublin. We then checked in to the hotel, quickly left again to return our rental car and FINALLY made... More

For a hotel restaurant this one was excellent. Breakfast or Dinner tried both. Good choice for breakfast but Dinners are even better.

My husband and I stayed at the Clontarf Castle Hotel while in Dublin and decided to eat at the Fahrenheit Grill our first night there. The food and service were both superb, and the wait staff was very accommodating. For a starter, I only wanted a mixed green salad which wasn't on the menu. They made one for me and... More

We had a lovely meal here and all 14 were satisified with their selections. the desserts were very nice--particularly the cheesecakes. My only suggestion is to drop the volume on the music and look into something other than a spa sound track. maybe some classical guitar or something? Anyway--thanks for a lovely meal. Breakfast is also very nice here.

Delicious food, superb service. The only thing I could criticise would be the lack of choice on the menu for vegetarians, however the chef was more than happy to make wild mushroom risotto for me. Breakfast is also outstanding.

We traveled to Ireland for the first time, this April, to celebrate my 60th birthday. There were six in our family. Landing on my birthday and staying near the castle, we thought that would be a perfect place to celebrate, based on the pictures and menu online. We made a reservations months in advance and my wife reached out on... More

So lets start by agreeing that this is a superb venue - and that we are reviewing this as "one of Dublin's top restaurants", recently awarded an AA Rosette. And its costs a lot (I paid €50 for two courses, a glass of wine and a coffee). I am happy to pay such prices but I do expect the menu... More
