I've ordered soup and steak which are both good but special credit goes to the steak - well prepared and presented.

We stayed in Clontarf castle this weekend and had a three course meal here. The food was lovely, if a little overpriced. The setting was also beautiful and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. For the main course I had the chicken and my husband had steak which we both thoroughly enjoyed. The pannacotta was also delicious and I would... More

Wonderful setting in a castle. The food was faultless. We had soup for starters and steak for mains with peppercorn sauce. The waitress was lovely and couldn't do more for us. The setting was romantic and the whole vibe was brilliant.

not quite very good but far better than average, nice food if a little on the small portion size, especially by Irish portion standards. Steak was however excellent, as was my desert.

We ordered a bottle of champagne and because it was not cold enough to serve (their choice, they did not bring it out and have us try it at a temperature they were not happy with), they brought us a complementary glass of prosecco to start. And it was all fantastic from there!! The champagne reached optimal serving temperature before... More

Went there for an early bird dinner with colleagues. Had Crispy Pork Belly Croquettes - very disappointing - deep fried meat balls of questionable consistency. I don't mind leftovers recycled where the result is appealing to the senses - not this. The panfried Salmon was delicious, however, the portion was small the garnish very small. At €17.95 it's a ripoff.... More

Ate mid-week, early bird menu is available all night Monday to Thursday. This was not a prerequisite for eating there, but an excellent plus. The service was very good, and the food was excellent. Most of us ate steak and it was great, as were the other dishes. The wine selection was also good. The decor and castle setting provide... More

The service was friendly and the old fantastic. We had a set menu as part of our romantic package, but we were plea mostly surprised with the options to choose from. The steak was perfectly cooked and wine menu was good to.

We went to Fahernheit in Clontarf Castle last Saturday. There was a good buzz around the place and the general area of the Castle was alive with people having fun. We decided to have a 4 course meal incl tea/coffee. Starters were very good; I had Pork Belly and she had Pate. For mains I had Ribeye, while she had... More

In your restaurant locater you have the above restaurant on a map for Clondalkin Dublin 22 . It is actually in Clontarf Dublin 3 which is on the North East of the City not the South West. Some of the reviews indicate the location which was helpful. Both Clontarf & Clondalkin have an area with " Castle" addresses but your map... More
