This restaurant is a favourite of a lot of people! It's food is consistent, menu has lots of choice and staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is really nice (I especially like the carbonara, nachos and soup) and is reasonably priced. Only downside is the wait for tables on the weekend. If going here on the weekend you... More

Joel's restaurant never fails to please me. Very reasonably priced and with a wide variety of food on the menu, there is something for everyone! I got the steak which was done to perfection! You don't have to book, which is great if your feeling hungry and passing!

As a regular diner here with my family I never have a complaint. The food is always gorgeous. Between me and my partner we have probably tried almost everything on the menu and never had any complaints. Only that it's so good we eat to much and can't eat for a week after it:) my fav dish is the spicy... More

Went for an evening meal, with adult family and friends, after being up for a game.Sat at a well worn basic dining room table and chairs, very close to other diners, alot of families with young children, celebrating birthdays in the restaurant, with the associated noise levels, meant that we had to talk very loudly to be heard. the menu... Big restaurant with a large varied menu, very family-friendly and good value. Always a reliable place for a meal out especially with families and groups.

Joel's is a restaurant for big groups or adults with kids in tow. It's not for high dining or a romantic meal. It's far bigger than I would have thought, so there's no sense of intimacy. When I visited the place was only half full but most of those patrons were rowdy children, so not my idea of a fancy... More

Brought a large group of 13 people, had 2 course meal plus tea coffee and soft drinks settled the bill and was told there was 14 euro outstanding, for 4 jugs of water with a dash of cordial, will not be back due to this, we found food and service very good, but being charged 14 euro for water after... Whilst travelling home with family, we decided to drop in for our evening meal. Food was just ok. Restaurant was very busy and the food was coming out like a conveyor.....I felt a lot of the food was over priced.

Joel's is great for a good selection and great for families. There's something for everyone. They have good offers and deals. Especially convenient just after Newlands Cross for those coming into Dublin on the M7.
