This restaurant was very busy when I arrived with my partner, but we got a table after 10 minutes. Our waitress (Jenifer) was very nice and pleasant. We waited roughly 10 minutes for our food, but the restaurant was packed so this was understandable. The portions are big and hearty. I had the chicken curry stir fry which was very... More

Second very poor meal in Joel's in a row. The waitress was very nice and also helpful but the incompetent waiter who brought the food didn't bother to bring us any condiments we asked for. After relenting from the last bad meal I have promised the unconcerned manager that I will NEVER be back.

My husband and I just showed up on a Friday evening and even though they were busy we were shown a table straight away. Our waiter was friendly and very helpful. Food came out quick enough considering how busy they were and it was both plentiful and delicious! Would certainly go back without hesitation.

My wife and I had a very nice meal in Joels this evening. When we arrived at around 6 we were led to a table straight away, despite the restaurant being very busy.Good start. Our waitress, although pleasant enough, wasn't over enthusiastic or over friendly.(Jenifer ?).Waiting times were a little long, but the restaurant was quite busy, and it wasn't too long. Bonus points to a manager(around... More

I had a meal with my partner at Joel's last week. What made it special was the excellent service from our diligent, witty waiter, David. My partner is vegetarian and David made sure that she got a beautiful curry made exactly to her preference. We had a fantastic spacious window seat and our night was topped off with the excellent... The quality of the food is always consistent . Excellent menu for adults and superb children's menu . Even when busy they find the time to make you feel... More

A bit annoying to get into with the current roadworks going on in the area but it's worth it. Late evening time is fine. I visit Joel's every few months and I have yet to be disappointed. Their dessert menu remains on the table throughout the meal, so you've been eyeing up something on it from the beginning. But, when... More

The food is ok . The menu never changes. Its not a bad restaurant just the menu needs to be updated . The wait for a table isnt worth the hassle
