A Sunday afternoon drink

We only had a drink around lunchtime last Sunday, we were surprised at how quiet it was. I thought it looked really nice inside, there's plenty of space! I'd like to go back to try the food sometime.

Been there with friends with families and kids on Sunday afternoon. Great venue for chat, but food... very poor and expensive. (10 euro for 1 potato, 1 rasher and 1 fried egg). The place has potentials: it is airy and spacious and could be a really nice place but menu has to improve, dramatically! Kids menu contains just 3 options,... More

Everytime we are in Dublin we have to come here for tapas. 3 euro 50 for marinated artichokes- get them! Always busy but the staff always make sure to fit you in somewhere. Its fun to eat here before going for a few drinks.

Amazing tapas. So full of flavour and well presented. Nice selection of wines too. I would highly recommend the chorizo and feta rocket salad. Brill atmosphere and great service!

I spent 50 years working in Dublin and had never heard of this place or even knew a bar let alone one of this size existed here. Walking along Fade St i looked into a dark courtyard through two 15 ft high gothic doors.Curiosity got the better of me and i wandered in opened a door and was hit by... More

Went here after dinner and enjoyed a fun night of drinks and people watching. A cool dynamic bar with lots of movement. Must return to check out food as that looked good. Ideal for a group of folks or after work gathering.

A friend recommended this bar/restaurant for its tapas and we were pleasantly surprised. A laid back restaurant with friendly staff. We order only 4 tapas and it was more than enough with huge portions! The chorizo salad was delicious.

I have been here many times and I have never had a bad meal. Tapas portions are really big and there is a lot of choice. The chorizo dishes are always great and the goats cheese crostini is very tasty. I would always suggest the patatas bravas for sharing - great side dish. Obviously the whole idea of tapas is... Our bus tour driver recommended this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent (we ordered way more than we were able to finish, but there are so many appealing options on the menu). It's a large venue and the servers are quite busy, but we managed to be able to get their attention when we wanted to... More

I've been to Market Bar for both lunch and dinner. They do a lunch special every day for 8 euro which is amazing value. A wrap or sandwich of the day along with a cup of soup and patatas bravas and some dressed salad leaves. It really is a fantastic lunch for the money and I can't recommend it enough.... More
