Good Beer on tap, Very Good Lunch Specials

Good selection of beer, The lunch special of soup and sandwich was very good. The BLT was good, the potatoes and garlic mayonnaise side was excellent, and the leek potato soup was very good.

Visited the bar for some food on Friday Evening. We waited no more than five minutes to be seated, just long enough to grab a drink. The bar is beautiful, all red brick and dark wooden tables. We ordered between two: Small patats - Divine ! Small meatballs - succulent and full of flavour Large nachos - goodness gracious people,... More

I wasn't really impressed by this bar / restaurant. It looks nice when you first get in - a kind of big, cavernous old warehouse feeling bar (but in a trendy way). When it gets buys though the accoustics are terrible. We ordered tapas and these were decidedly average.

Pretty good sangria, lovely open space, and delicious patatas bravas! Be warned - they're quite garlicky! Good buzz later in the evening.

We had wonderful Tapas and wine here in early evening. Its an old meat market and the building is wonderful. Great Atmosphere, great service. Good Value

The food here is great for a friendly price. We took the lunch special with soup and a goat cheese salad. The food is good but service could be a little better. We all got the dishes on different times. Also small adjustments to the dish were not possible (eg leave the corn out and replace it with onions). But... More

Great location, good large high space, good staff, good mood, good music (from speakers). What's missing? The attention to food. The menu has mostly tapas style dishes, portions are unnecessarily huge, and quality is shaky. Example: we had a fish skewer, which was bland and over cooked. We had the dips appetizer, which was fine, except: the bread was stale... More

I've been to The Market Bar several times and they never disappoint. The food is beautiful, venue it's self is big and airy and there's always a great buzz around the place. The only small complaint I would have is sometimes when it's very busy, you may be waiting to order for a while - it's never got to the... More

Recap: Nice atmosphere, eating here is torture. The huge amounts of sauce is used tot cover up any kind of taste this food has. Fortunately, that was the most important thing that was missing. Taste. The portions are huge, but equally gruesome. There is not any form of expertise let alone involvement to be found in the calamari, nachos, pincho... More

Great food. Cool atmosphere. Speedy service. What more do you want? The food is mainly tapas but huge portions so just pick a few (3 max for me) of what you like and IF your still hungry after that just order more, Its that kinda place.
