nice place, with best beer-garden in Dublin, not the cheapest

Nice placed, built on an old church. Looks really nice inside and outside with the big beer-garden. Especially nice on the rare sunny days in Dublin. There's couple different menu's: ala carte, bar menu and bbq outside during summer. Not the cheapest place, but not the most expensive either... read more

Had a great time here. Great food and great drinks. Well worth a visit. The nachos were weird...but that is why you go on vacation. Let me know what you think of the nachos.

This place is a lot of fun with their traditional live music and dancing. We ordered the Irish Stew and I was somewhat disappointed. The meat was tough, some of it unchewable. There were potatoes int the stew as well, a mushroom and a small slice of carrot. We thought this would be a signature dish but wish we had... More

This is an old church which has been converted to a restaurant and pub. Each floor boasts a different atmosphere. We ate in the floor level pub. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we lucked out with a music and dance entertainment we were not aware was scheduled for that night! The food was excellent, and the beer... More

Went last night and that is the last time ill ever go. €6.90for a pint of cheap C&C lager on a Sunday evening sitting on a table the staff didn't clean. Still in shock at the service and price of a beer now. Head to the southside of the city, outside the venue is quite dangerous at nighttime as it... More

Thoroughly enjoyed very good food in beautiful surroundings in The Church. Had some of the tastiest lamb I've enjoyed in a long time! Lovely selection across the menu. Everything we ordered was prepared with good quality ingredients - full of flavour, but balanced and not overpowering. Pleasant, friendly and efficient service. Reasonably priced considering the quality of the food on... More

The Church was recommended by our hotel. Four of us had dinner there together - two enjoyed it, the other two of us found it average at best. My sirloin was no better than what I'd find at a chain restaurant at home in Canada. I'd ordered it medium-well and had to send it back as it was barely rare.... More

Visited The Church for a bite to eat. The food was okay. I had the monkfish but €27 for a main course was a bit pricey. I thought the monkfish was a bit overcooked. Staff very friendly and a beautiful venue. Good place for tourists

The Church is a converted... yep, church. Very popular with trad music and dancing - great food and atmosphere. You pay a little more but it is a nice treat while travelling to see the dancing on a small stage up close.
