Stopped here for dessert and after-dinner drink. They said they did not take dessert orders after 8.45 pm (we went to the bar downstairs and not tothe full-service restaurant in the gallery or cellar?). They recommended their home-made scones to go with our Irish coffees. That turned out to be a winning combination after our light tapas dinner. The space... More

A short review. I had lunch here recently with a friend. I had a burger (13.95) which was steep for what it was - average. My friend had asian duck salad (12.95), again average. Where I had the gripe was this place charging 6.20 for a pint of cider. This is on Mary Street, beside Henry Street, one of the... More

Hello! First of all, welcome to Dublin. Secondly, this is the place you want to be. My cousin and I were traveling around the country and were in Dublin for a few days. The first day we got here, Sunday, we went to The Church Bar and were immediately excited upon arrival. We sat at the bar instead of getting... More

Heard of the church by friends and went there just to get a look inside. We decide to stop for a drink and just relax for a while. It was a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Next time we come to Dublin we will definitely reserve a table. The prices looked to be pretty good.

I had visited the restaurant as part of a Walking Tour.(Incidentally Arthur Guinness was married here and Wolfe Tone was baptised) We had a discount voucher to spend, and the Thai Curry was particularly excellent.

On our way to another event, we stopped by because there was a lot of people around and it sounded cool (president of Austria was having a reception there). We were granted the red carpet entry and greated with a big smile. No we are not "officials" but nevertheless we were very well served and welcomed even if we were... More

This is a nice, convenient place to go to. It's a little big and a little on the pricey side but if you're entertaining visitors to Dublin it creates a bit of a talking point. The outside area is excellent on a sunny day.

We were tempted in by the menu and advertised evening of Irish Music & Dancing. Having had a wonderful meal and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at another location watching wonderful Irish singers & dancers on our first night in Dublin we thought we would try this one for our last night. It must have had superb acoustics when it was a... More
