I have been twice to this restaurant, on both occasions you wait forever to get seated, even when we asked staff twice for a table. The food looks nice but doesn't live up to expectations and very overpriced, much nicer places near by for less. I wont be going back

Thank you for your comments we are always happy to receive feedback. We operate a free seating policy in the bar (the main floor) and out on the terrace where customers find their own tables so I am not so sure why you would be waiting to be seated as we dont seat customers. For the gallery restaurant (on the... More

I picked the Church for my Wife's Birthday and Boy were we overwhelmed! The welcome from the second that you walked through the door to the sad moment when we had to leave was exceptional. The atmosphere in the Gallery Restaurant is incredible, the staff so, so friendly and as for the food, wow!!! The fillet steak was one of... More

My family and I had a really nice lunch at The Church on one of our afternoons in Dublin. This place was a welcome change from some of the more traditional, touristy pubs. We felt like we were mostly dining among locals, and though the meals were maybe a couple Euros more than we would have paid in a pub,... More

My family and I visited the Church bar today for lunch. We were so overwhelmed with the experience that we decided we needed to share our experience here. All of the food, from starters, to main courses to dessert was absolutely delicious, filling and beautifully presented. We devoured the myriad of complementing flavours in the chef's king prawn special for... More

Recommended by a work colleague. It was perfect. We ordered a starter and a main and the waiter looked at us funny. No wonder, the chicken wings could have fed 4 as could the calamari. This was followed by a steak buttie. Everything was cooked to perfection. Friendly waiteress as well. O'hara on draught that was sublime (better stout than... More

After eating some mediocre food in the Temple Bar area we decided to visit "The Church" for our final meal in Dublin. The food was great, we ate upstairs in the slightly more formal restaurant in order to get a good view of the dancers and musicians. All in all a pleasant experience with in a unique setting.

We were just walking by and dropped in for a quick bite to eat. Food at bar was excellent! Staff was very attentive and food was served promptly. Beer selection was great, there was a gentleman singing, and they had some traditional Irish dancers give a show. We would recommend this Pub to anyone.

Our first night in Dublin we arrived really late. The restaurant was nice enough to get us in right before dinner service was over. The steak we had was cooked perfectly. I loved the roasted veggies for my sides. After being in Ireland for 10 days, I wanted a veggie that wasn't a potato! And the best part of The... More
