The three of us really enjoyed our visit. The difference between this, and other restaurants we tried, is that the owner was present. It is apparent that he (and his staff) actually want you to enjoy the eating experience they offer. Has the relaxed air of a Mediterranean restaurant Try the Calamari salad and/or the colourful eggs! You can't go... More

My friends and I recently went to La Paloma for some food and drinks. We were looking for something fun and were not disappointed. The decor, the music the complete feel of the lace makes it feel you're back on holidays in Spain. It was great. We went initially as they had loads of different types of Sangria which were... More

It's never appeared to be an easy thing to me to find a place for good food in Temple Bar. I'm just an occasional tourist here, which is why I am pointing people to La Paloma, a restaurant I visit every time in Dublin. I like the energy of Temple Bar, and hanging out at Gogarty's, and I'll always start... More

We've been a few times and never had a bad meal. There's always a welcoming smile, good food, value for money. We'd definitely recommend it for locals and visitors and we'll be back again.

My family and I had a lovely meal at La Paloma in December while visiting Dublin over the New Year's Holiday! The food was excellent, presentation beautiful and the sangria was great too. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Very bad experience, shockingly inattentive service and low standard food! Spanish restaurant??? Inedible patatas bravas, we asked server if they are frozen and how they are cooked, and of course answer was that they are cooked fresh, apparently in pan, then in fryer and then again in pan with mojo sauce....sounded like guy did not have a clue about dish,... La Paloma is 24 years serving fine food and drinks to the Dublin public, mostly its great meeting and looking after our friends and customers ,you pay your money your entitled to your opinion and nowadays everyone wants to broadcast their opinions on Patatas bravas or whatever. All our potato dishes are made in house ,why would we bother with frozen stuff... Another fantastic meal in La Paloma tonight; a quirky, friendly, family-run business in the centre of Dublin. Probably the most interesting restaurant in town. I've ordered the entire menu over the past 10 years or so. Actually, I haven't tried the pork belly but, still, never a bad meal. I don't usually write reviews but this place is outstanding. I've...
