We visited on a busy Saturday night I have to say that this is the best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten in. I see Indian food as a treat to be enjoyed once or twice a year & this place does not disappoint. Nice staff, but superlative food, added to an extensive wine list, mean that Kinara will be... More

Very pleasant surroundings, lovely window table looking out onto the twinkling lights of Dublin Bay. Extensive menu choice. I enjoyed the tandoori sea bass while my companion started with the beef kebabs(very spicy) followed by a chicken curry. All plates cleared! We finished with ice cream and the chocolate fondant which I expected to be a lot richer. Overall a... More

This is the best Indian restaurant i have eaten in in Ireland. A friend recommended it and as we are big Indian fans we said we had to try it and we were not disappointed. Every thing we ordered, monkfish, prawn, makani chicken, biryani, was amazing and the staff were so engaging too. We will defintely go back when in... More

I love this restaurant. I've never been disappointed by the food. I've been 5-6 times at this stage and never had any dish that I didn't enjoy. The monkfish starter is perfection, and I've had every prawn dish on the menu. All excellent. The atmosphere is lovely. The waiters are great. My favourite is the Romanian lady who for me... More

We were there on Tuesday night. It was busy with a nice buzzy atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. It was the best Indian meal I have had in Ireland. The portions were generous. It was good value. I will be making many return visits!

If you enjoy this type of food, you won't regret visiting Kinara. Tasteful decor, and very well-presented, attentive staff add to the experience. Our visit was on a Saturday night; the place was solidly booked and we had a 1hr 45 minute slot for our meal (having booked about 10 days ahead), nevertheless, the meal was a pleasure in every... Amazing Indian. Try the kroma and tikka. Great staff and great value for the quality of food that you get. They also do a good set menu.

Kinara, based on the seafront in Clontarf, is a good quality Indian restaurant opened in 2001. I’ve no idea if its authentic as I’ve never been to India, however, compared to many Irish competitors it does the business. The restaurant is a sister to Kajjal in Malahide and one of the few faults I would have is that both restaurants... More
