Simply Lovely...

I had heard so many good reports from regular patrons of Kinara, that we decided to try for ourselves. I am so glad we did. There is a lovely quiet bar area downstairs where you can enjoy a pre-dinner drink and peruse the extensive menu. There is a great early bird menu, three courses for a... read more

lovey atmosphere - we were seated upstairs so we had a lovely clear view of the wooden bridge and the coast. We ate dinner here last week - our first time (having heard such good reviews) The place is pristine, really nice decor and very clean toilets (always a good sign!) I hada spice beef kebab to start which was... More

I went to Kinara in Clontarf with my wife for an anniversary dinner. The food was fine but we were most unhappy with the accommodation. Tables were closely packed - to such an extent that private conversation was impossible. It seems that the management have crushed in as many tables as possible. In spite of acceptable food this was not an... More

We went here for our Valentines Day dinner and had an amazing night. The food is outstanding (most things are fairly spicy so watch out) and the service was great. We will be returning.

Well established Indian restaurant with a strong local following. For a fine dining experience right on Clontarf seafront, look no further than Kinara. Been here several times before...service was excellent from the get-go, and the menu has something for every temperature palate. Seating is tight all round and the ceilings are low – wedged next to a small birthday celebration... More

Indian restaurant in Clontarf - neighbourhood restaurant at high end city prices. Food very nice - the usual Indian fare - lots of naan bread, rice and sauce. Exceptionally expensive - starters €12 - €16 - I got the lamb chops for starter and was given 2 very small little chops - €10.50 - good mark up! Mains €18.95 -... More

Not to be confused with the usual curry house one might visit . This a beautifully appointed restaurant situated on the seafront . We ate on the second floor with wonderful sea views . So the setting is great and is matched by the food . Well cooked , great flavours , the mains were excellent as were the sides... More

Great food, friendly staff. Definitely the best restaurant in Clontarf. Possibly the best Indian style restaurant in Dublin.

I have always found the food good, but the service last Monday was so bad. We waited ages for a waiter to service us and after that we had to ask for everything. It was hard work trying to get the waiters attention. We had to wait ages for the main course,so at the end of the day it took the... More
