Probably one of the best restaurants in Dublin

If you like good Indian and ethnic food, I would suggest this is probably Dublin's best restaurant. Living locally it is very handy, but well worth traveling to. The service is great, staff make you feel special, but the food is why you will return, again and again.

Family dinner for a birthday celebration. Nice setting but cramped tables. Staff seemed surprised we did not require wine (to drink with a curry !). Long wait for our starters, the waitress served plates across rather than behind us. Could not attract them to clear when finished. All dishes had rather sweet curries which lacked authentic Pakistani flavours - large... More

I am a big lover of hot eastern cuisine. Trying many takeaways (indians/pakistanis) i have been constantly disappointed since immigrating home at the end of 2014. However having tried Kinara many years ago on a visit home, i remembered i loved it so i tried it again last week and i honestly have to say without a doubt it is... More

we recently visited Dublin for a long weekend and were recommended the restaurant by a colleague. It was one of the best recommendations I have ever had - the restaurant fitted us in when we turned up on spec, found us an excellent table within minutes of getting a drink in the lovely bar, and both the service and food... This restaurant has to be one of the best Indian restaurants in Ireland. Always incredible food and superb service. Yes it is a bit expensive, but, it is worth it. Great for a special night out or to gather with a group of friends. Never a bad experience.

Visited kinara for the 3rd time over the weekend. The food never fails to disappoint and is always cooked to perfection. The service however can be a little rushed. We had only put down our cutlery and the plates were whipped away. There also was not a lot of time for our starters to go down before mains were served.... More

This review is long overdue but one that I just cannot let go! Visited here last year with my mother and my wife. I had read so many good reviews about Kinara that I was just dying to give it a whirl. Growing up in Clontarf I can remember Kinara being O'Gradys, a cluttered shop where we bought our buckets...
