Great indian food

Visited kinara for the 3rd time over the weekend. The food never fails to disappoint and is always cooked to perfection. The service however can be a little rushed. We had only put down our cutlery and the plates were whipped away. There also was not a lot of time for our starters to go down before... read more

This review is long overdue but one that I just cannot let go! Visited here last year with my mother and my wife. I had read so many good reviews about Kinara that I was just dying to give it a whirl. Growing up in Clontarf I can remember Kinara being O'Gradys, a cluttered shop where we bought our buckets... We had heard about Kinara but had never been before, lovely old house turned in a huge restaurant, white linen tablecloths & napkins, very clean. So many rooms all full with chattering customers. Lovely welcome by a traditionally dressed gentleman. All the staff were extremely courteous. The food was delicious, the flavours amazing, only one quibble was that the food... More

After spending the summer in Delhi last year, I found it difficult to find Indian restaurants or takeaways that lived up to the high standards I had become accustomed to over the 3 months spent abroad. Kinara however has been the one consistently delicious and authentic restaurant that I always return to. The staff are always very attentive and helpful... More

An Indian restaurant in Clontarf, Dublin 3, that must rival any Indian anywhere. It's located on the coast road overlooking the sea, so surroundings are picturesque, decor is classy avoiding the flock wallpaper and background sitar music trap. Staff are discreet, attentive and polite. Food is top notch. Not cheap, but worth it. Now to the food. It's fantastic. We... More

Have been to the sister Kinara restaurant in Ranelagh and wanted to try this one. With all the good reviews, we were really expecting something really special. The food is good and fine but it didn't blow my expectations. The place was very busy and seating can be a little packed - we were seated on the ground floor. Staff... More
