For someone who wouldnt be a fan of raw anything, I went her to please my sister as a "going away to Canada" dinner. I was pleasantly surprised! So much to chose from and taste from, we shared different foods, tried new things and have been back to try out some more! Staff are helpful and reasonably priced! Try it!... More

Yamamori is the best japanese we found in Dublin so far. The food, the sushi, the hot japanese dishes (in spite of the difficulty to find simple vegetable dish that is not deep fried as the delicious curry they had on the menu and took away !) Service is alright, depending a lot on the waiter-tress. it can be slow... More

If you want to read a rude story read below, a restaurant that hangs up in your face because you ask for an information and you want to book a table! I tried to book a table in this restaurant yesterday night for 20 people asking if we can have only 1 table and if I could know the shape... More

I have frequented Yamamori Sushi many times over the years and as a big fan of Yamamori I remember being very happy that one was opening on the Quays when it was announced a couple of years ago. The restaurant is very well laid out and has a nice flow with some wonderful Japanese pieces. Booking of the restaurant for... More

I went to Yamamori for lunch a week ago and I was very disappointed. The sashimi were okay, same quality as Itsu in the uk but the sushi were terrible. The rice was over cooked, each pieces of the roll had been cut too big and the whole thing was loaded with mayonnaise! At 18e a roll, I was expecting... More

I love all the Yamamori restaurants. I love the apparent simplicity of Japanese food. Next to a real Sushi bar like the ones I used to frequent in the USA, this is for me the best option in Dublin. My husband is not a huge fish eater, let alone raw fish, but he is very partial to the tempura... vegetable... More

I love their seafood ramen, veggie bentos, the mango, green tea and vanilla ice cream and in general all the desserts the choco tart and the ny stile cheesecake! Rainbow sushi is delish, all veggie options are original and tasty. The special thing about yamamori sushi is that it is NEVER boring and always tasty.

Very good Japanese food. Love how good the service is in such a busy restaurant. Always packed which is a great sign.

An Irish take on Japanese food... Which is about as good as it sounds (ie, not very!) Some of their sake cocktails are lovely, but generally it's a bit over-hyped and dull.
