Group of 8 after international rugby - restaurant ideal as not far from stadium - warm welcome and despite my slight aversion to Thai food the menu was varied and seemed to have plenty to choose from. Platter of starters were great - freshly cooked and really tasty. Main courses particularly duck dished were wholesome and tasted great. Will definitely... More

Everything I've ever had here had been delicious. Coconut ice cream is a good ending to an awesome dinner..

I recently visited Baan Thai while on a business trip. I had Sea Bass Choo Chee. The fish was delicious and the two fillets made for plenty. A creamy red Choo Chee sauce was poured over which was sweet and spicy at the same time. The place was rocking busy but we were not waiting long and the waiter didn't... More

Very good food of high quality and very authentic. You can even choose the step of spicy for those who can't stay in the fire.

I ordered Tom Yum soup and asked if I could add some noodles in it (since I do not like rice to go with tom yum). The waiter said he could add pad thai noodle, so I agreed. When the bill came, I got a shock! They charged me 6.50 (for tom yum) and an extra 16.95 for the pad... More

Having seen some good reviews my wife and I thought we would give this place a try. Big mistake. The restaurant is small and pokey (an estate agent would call it cosy) and the food, when it eventually came after a 30 minute wait, was tepid and greasy. Would not suggest this as a decent Thai restaurant.

We almost missed this restaurant walking through the streets of Ballsbridge but I am so glad we didn't. The food was exceptional, the service was very quick and the atmosphere set by the dark wood paneled restaurant was quite unique. Wholeheartedly recommended.

I had the early bird specials for 2 dinners. The duck in red curry was not very good - had the distinct smell when you microwave poultry. the Shrimp Tom Yum and Prawn Green curry were excellent. Prawn cakes were deep fried, and got a bit rubbery and very oily.
