Looks like a pub from the outside but is an authentic Irish restaurant on the inside. Food was 100% perfect. Not a single complaint in the house ... Festive 2 course menu covered tastes for all 7 of us & at €22.95 per head great value :) Eat here you won't be disappointed.

We couldn't get into the restaurant we were intending to have lunch in and came across The Old Mill Restaurant in the Temple Bar area. It was really good. We had Salmon and Prawn Bisque and Chicken Wing starters. The chicken wings were tasty on their own (lovely sauce) so thought the dip wasn't needed so was surprised it worked... More

We came for dinner here and I had one of the most beautifully cooked fish dishes, simple fish with prawns. The flavors were amazing. My partner had sausages and mash which again were just really lovely. Highly recommended for a nice, traditional and not to expensive meal.

We were looking for a lunchtime snack, the lady giving out menus caught our attention, after a quick look we decided to stop walking and give it a go. So glad we did, a superb, reasonably priced meal. Well worth going up the stairs for!

We had just arrived in the city and looking for a bite to eat and walked a little up from our hotel and met a young lady handing out a leaflet for this establishment and liked what we saw on the menu so we headed in. You go up a lovely stairs and along its all nicely decorated with old... More

I received a menu on the street for this restaurant. As it was starting to rain I went in. It was busy and very cozy looking. The special menu was 17.50 euros for 2 course meal. I had the Irish Salmon and it was cooked perfectly. Service was quick and very efficient. U would definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch... More

We had hoped to eat elsewhere but the first choice had closed their kitchen so we wandered past and decided to try it. Best meal we've had in Ireland. The Irish Stew was marvelous. The smoked salmon bisque was tasty and the salmon with linguini was exceptional with veggies still crisp in spite of he late hour we ordered it.... More

We had three very nice meals there and can recommend the lamb shank, lamb Guinness stew and the salmon dish. Service was good and the prices not too bad for being in a prime tourist location.

In the heart of Temple Bar the Old Mill oozes character and atmosphere. Irish stew is a must with a few smooth Guinnesses. The live Irish music makes it a night to remember.

Really nice restaurant with wholesome food in the heart of Dublin. We enjoyed it so much that we visited twice in the span of two days once for lunch and once for dinner. Hearty food, including a selection of traditional meals, such as Irish Stews, as well as a selection of grills. Portions are generous and prices are decent (although... More
