Loved it!

Arrived around 8pm on a Friday night. Very crowded. Waited around 30 minutes for a table. Luckily, we grabbed some seats at the bar and enjoyed a couple glasses of Sangria. The menu covers a wide variety of tapas. We opted to for a nice pate, a wonderful shrimp in garlic, and a very well... read more

We were recommended this gorgeous tapas restaurant by a local and we are so glad we went! We hadn't made reservations (for a Saturday night!!) so we were slightly nervous about not getting a table however we were fortunately given a cosy table in prime people watching spot!! The food was delicious and reasonably priced, the staff were attentive and... More

Went for lunch here and it was delish. Had wings for starter and the stuffed chicken for main. My only problem was the service was a little slow for lunch time, other than that it was great.

Went last Saturday for an early dinner. We arrived at 6pm and were greeted with 'you have the table till 7.15). The restaurant was so cramped, even at that time. Portion sizes were tiny and we were out the door and all by 6.50, talk about fast food... Should have saved the €60 and went to McDonalds.

I'm so disappointed that Salamanca are more interested in the number of covers they get in a night than the quality of their customers experience. I booked a table for 11 people 1 month in advance for my mams 70th birthday for last night as its her favourite restaurant. I asked for a table at the back of the restaurant... More

I'd rarely be critical as I believe that we are all mostly trying to do our best but last night we were poorly treated in Salamanca. We had booked a table for 11 over a month again to celebrate my mother in laws 70th birthday. She chose here as she is a frequent patron. The table we were given was... More

I have been writing TripAdvisor reviews for 15 years and this only my second bad review. Salamanca is bad enough to break my "if you don't have something good to say, don't say anything at all" rule. Where do I start?!! First and foremost, the food (all of it) was terrible! If we weren't starving, we wouldn't have eaten any... More

Went for dinner here last night. We didn't have a booking, and it was a busy Saturday night, but they managed to squeeze us in, and didn't rush us at all. Food was amazing and really great value. We tried to sample as many tapas as we could. Plenty of wine to choose from, and a good atmosphere. Staff were... More

I went to Salamanca with a craving for tapas. It was decent quality. The tapas I've had and in tapas bars elsewhere were better plus I felt Salamanca was a bit expensive. Service was very good, very friendly staff.

After coming back from a tour trip around Ireland me and my partner were absolutely starving, the first place we came across apart from McDonald's or subway was this restaurant. We looked at the menu outside, looked good with decent prices so decided to go in. We were glad to have made this choice - we were welcomed straight away... More
