very good food nice location

Before I ordered I asked if the chef was from Spain.. Indeed the chef was so I ordered the basics that you get on almost any tapas menu in Spain.. It was quite good.. A bit salty but, I was totally satisfied with the food. If you know Spanish food its well worth going.. The service was fine... read more

I must begin by saying that I am not the greatest lover of tapas, however I believe this is because of the poor standard of most tapas restaurants in Dublin and not a dislike for the style of eating itself. Overall all the dishes were very oily and heavy. The mussels I had were hard and rubbery so were either... More

I tried Salamanca this week for dinner and I was a little underwhelmed considering how busy it seems to be generally. I have been travelling to Spain all my life and usually only eat tapas when I'm there. Sadly I won't be changing this habit, Salamanca gave me the worst croquettas I have ever tasted, they were like crusty dough... More

Visited on a recommendation from a friend. Staff seemed kind but forgetful - forgot that we had ordered drinks even though it wasn't very busy. Otherwise friendly and funny, and the reason this gets three stars rather than two. Food was a let down. Tasted like anything I could have bought in a supermarket and heated. Chicken wings and chorizo... More

Finally got around to visiting this restaurant. I went there for a late lunch last week. They have an amazing value lunch menu from 12-4pm Monday-Friday for €10 for 2 courses. You can add on a half litre of wine for €12. It's a very nice venue and much bigger than it looks from the front, as it stretches back... More

The service was good. We had the sampler p[latter with sangria. The sangria was excellent. Great service. Food is ok, not great. Nice inside.

Walked by it and hungry and I love tapas. Service was good. Food was mixed: prawns in garlic, calamari, and Serrano ham and cheese were also good. Tortilla was bland and over cooked. Beef was tough but mashed potatoes and pepper sauce were excellent. I liked my wine, a Spanish red. I am used to higher quality in my tapas... More
