Great atmosphere and food

You wouldn't guess from the outside, but downstairs is a great treat! The excellent vaulted ceiling restoration is charming and the food doesn't disappoint!

Overpriced for conveyor belt food with an undertrained waiting staff made the service sloppy. Have been once before a year previously , and the experience was excellent. Much better menu at a more reasonable price. There was a great goats cheese and caramelised onion tart. This time, a mushroom salad with no mushroom!! Got the impression that the good times... More

I have eaten here a couple of times and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful, the service is excellent and the food is a very high standard. The early bird menu offers excellent value for money and is a great option for a pre-show meal at the 3 Arena, as it's only about a 10 minute walk away.

Have been here a few times and the food and service never dissapoints. Very versatile menu and everything good from fish to steak. Great round table for five or six makes it a real treat when out with a group.

We had a meal last Sunday at Ely Bar & Brasserie, before we attended in the Board Gais Theater. We were certainly impressed with the food & service. The meal was exactly as described on the menu fresh with prime Irish products & cooked to perfection. Service efficient & all at a reasonable cost... Thank u Ely.

It was late one night and raining. This was the first restaurant we spotted after getting off the LUAS. We were promptly seated downstairs. I ordered from the 3-course Christmas menu. I loved the salmon starter. My steak was cooked perfectly and the accompaniments were yummy. The dessert I got was okay (carrot cake) but my husband's Salted Caramel Tart... More

We had our Christmas Party in Ely IFC on Saturday night, and it was magnificent. Superb venue, excellent food, pleasant and attentive staff, all preceded by a very informative and enjoyable wine tasking, which started the proceedings beautifully.

We ware having a get together dinner to say farewell to one of our collegues - the food and the service is just fantastic, but the wine choice is a little bit disappointment.

A group of 12 of us had a meal in Ely's private dining wine cellar. I can't speak highly enough of the food, service and setting. It was perfect all round and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin.
