The location is spot on ten minutes walk to the Bord Gais theatre and a lovely setting. The staff here are excellent I got the rack of lamb and I was a little disappointed in what came out it was more fat than meat!!! The waitress said she would tell the chef and five minutes later another rack... read more

Georges dock is almost at the end of the Red line in Dublin, just before you actually get to Dublin Docks. This is a very good restaurant on two levels. Smart downstairs and at floor level open and airy with mainly glass walls for views over the river and also outdoor seating. The service was generally good, a little slow... More

we went to this restaurant for the early bird menu after a matinee at the bord gais theatre. We had the seafood of the day , hake with salad . It was really tasty and wine was lovely. Would definitely go there again when I visit Dublin. Really convenient for Connolly station.

The setting and the restaurant is beautiful - lovely old cellar while not feeling too dark and dungeony. We went for the early bird menu (the food was good for the price we were paying for it) as we were heading to the 3 Arena for a Fleetwood Mac gig last Friday. I would imagine nights like this are their... More

Staying out at the Point where it is a bit of a wasteland, take the LUAS to Georges on the way to town and find this wine bar/restaurant. After slight confusion on the menu (showing one option on one menu as gluten free and the same on another with differenct ingredients) we had the partridge and the lamb. Both were... More

Ely is located by the river –and therefore has a spectacular view. They really know how to use to get the most of it place. It’s a main attraction or a place to go after business meeting. Modern interior, glass wood and steel – those are a three words describing the design. They offer Mediterranean cuisine mainly and have great... More

I enjoyed the Aughrim pheasant with linguini and a truffle sauce. Average wine list, good desserts, eg very chocolatey pudding.

Recently had the pleasure of visiting ely bar & brasserie in the IFSC with friends to sample their new brunch menu. It didn't disappoint. The menu reads very well and eats even better. Something for everyone. The Portuguese baked eggs were delicious as were the crispy Irish buffalo chicken wings. The brown bread and savory crab doughnuts were also 'top... More
