Very good!

Nice Italian restaurant with Italian professional staff. food is authentic and well cooked. Great pasta and buffalo mozzarella. Great choice of bottled wine but a bit expensive

Great discovery we had sud ink pasta with the freshest of fish and amazing fillet of beef. We decided to have breakfast the next morning. Scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and wonderful Italian coffee. We liked the option of wholemeal and gluten free bread. Serviced excellent, staff all seemed Italian they even remembered us from the previous evening!

When we go to Europe, we always try to go to at least one Italian restaurant because we figure it's closer to the "old country" than the USA (lol!). When planning our stay in Dublin, we found Dunne and Crescezi. Given that we are an Italian/Irish (heritage) couple ourselves, we thought this looked perfect and made an online reservation before... Good local Italian with nice vibe great service particularly the amiable and knowledgeable Matteo - only gripe we feel is that the chef needs to go steady on the salt !

Can't beat Dunne & Crescenzi's for a taste of authentic Italian without leaving Ireland. Just back from a meal there with my Italian and Irish families. Top class! Great mozzarella di bufala, pasta as mamma does it and extensive wine list. Don't leave without tasting the tiramisu and a good espresso! We came away impressed by the excellent service and... More

The Italian wine list is impressive, long and diverse. The menu extensive. This is no ordinary Italian restaurant. This is Italian. The cingale was superb, the olive oil and balsamic authentic, insalata (various) wonderful. You can tell we liked this place - busy, atmospheric and reasonably priced for what you get. It was recommended to us by friends - we... More

Lovely meal, great menu, fresh authentic Italian food served hot with wonderful service. They fitted us in on a Saturday evening without a booking. Very busy but polite and helpful with the menu selections. Wines chosen for meals went very well!

I alaways thought that Italians are all about their food, but not in this place. Tasteless lasagna and straight from box gnochi. You can eat a lot better in any italian in Dublin. Is very simple to make good italian food, and to make home made gnochi is more than simple : flour, eggs, potatoes. Also to make your bolgnese... More

It is always disappointing to receive a negative review such as this. We take all reviews seriously and discuss them with staff and chefs in great detail. Notwithstanding incorrect information it is useful to try to understand the customer's perception. We do have a large Italian following but that is not necessarily important, what is important is respect towards our... More

I have been at Dunne and Crescenzi a few times, once in Sandymount and a couple of times in South Frederick St., and I always enjoyed the experience very much. The food is really tasty and high-quality, portions are satisfying and, most importantly, that is REAL Italian cuisine! Waiters are attentive and the restaurants are nicely decorated, with a cozy...
