Great food for hungry travellers

My husband, adult son and I had lunch here today. Son's main-course salad was judged excellent, my husband's tagliatelle with smoked salmon was also satisfactory, though he did comment that there was probably too much smoked salmon in the dish - an unusual complaint. I ordered parmigiana melanzane, a dish which I have really enjoyed previously in this restaurant. Unfortunately... More

A bit saturated with Irish stew, pie, and fish and chips, we went into Dunne & Crescenzi on a whim. Great choice! I made a Trip Advisor account just to give this fantastic restaurant a 5-star review. The menu offered a great variety of authentic Italian dishes. The food was simply amazing, and the servers were friendly and hospitable. A... More

centrally located restaurant in Dublin that serves excellent pasta and Italian dishes. Three of us dined on a Wednesday night in a busy restaurant. Service was attentive and slick. We shared an antipasta board to start followed by a mix of pasta mains, lasagna, seafood pasta and salmon carbonara. Only slight glitch was one of the main courses was wrong... More

Ate dinner here on a busy Friday evening, luckily we had booked and our table was ready when we arrived, there was a great buzz about the place. The food we had was very tasty, house Chianti was excellent value and we had a very nice server. However, This review would have been excellent had we had more time between... More

Our family visited for dinner on our first night in Dublin. Tired and cranky, our moods were all improved by Dunne and Crescenzi. Excellent authentic Italian menu, right down to the delicious desserts. Excellent ambiance. Only slight disappointment was getting what seemed like the only non-Italian waitress ;)

What a joke - waited for water over 10min. Called twice to get some attention!!! Also is takes more than 30min getting food! They just running to clean the table - they don't even look at you. If there was another restaurant I will never ever go in here - if you are meat lover and not pasta lover you... More

Visited with a group of colleagues. We had booked table for 8 but ended up with 10 in our party which the staff accommodated without problem. Friendly Italian hospitality with a good menu and food to match. The minestrone, black risotto and Amaretto gelato did it for me! House wine was perfectly serviceable also.
