It is a wonderful little Italian eatery just off the busiest streets on the Southside. Stop in for wine, cheese and an Italian dish or two. Sidewalk tables are nice.

we had an excellent night here. lasagna was the best we have tasted. one small gripe - and it IS a minor matter - but the tables tend to be a bit close together. Beautiful wine and fine food - will be back.

Chanced upon this restaurant for a late lunch after a busy morning fighting the crowds in Dublin's center. Obviously very popular but we got a table OK. We shared a cheese platter along with the melon and proscuitto appetizer and everything was really good. Our daughter had pasta and said that although the sauce was excellent some of the spaghetti... We were so happy to spot this place on a side street the other day! On a quieter street with ample outdoor seating, we found exactly what we were looking for after a hectic day sightseeing in Temple Bar and other busy areas of Dublin. An excellent wine list! And good mixed drinks. I had a salad and spaghetti and... More

Food was good. We all took something different (4 people): gniocci, spaghetti and some other pasta. Staff was very friendly but it was very noisy and full of people despite it was thurseday. Due to that fact we had to wait a little long for our food. One other negative point was that there were not so many vegan option... More

I met a colleague for an early bird. The atmosphere was lovely and I was really looking forward to a pleasant evening. However the waiter got everything wrong, forgot our starters, then brought out the mains before the starters and forgot the drinks. However I have to say the food was lovely - we had bruschetta with lovely tomatoes and... More

It is incredible how much the details can add to the authenticity of a restaurant: Italian waiters describing the food in Italian are a great hint that you might get decent Italian food. And D&C delivers. I like to cook and I experiment a lot with pasta, so I had a conflicting experience: the wonderful papardelle provided my senses with... More
