I'm a sucker for walls of wine!

First up I should confess to a vested interest: I'm a sucker for walls of wine! And the walls of this place are lined with bottles and bottles of wine. First up I should confess to a vested interest: I'm a sucker for walls of wine! And the walls of this place are lined with bottles and bottles of wine. Went to Dunne and Crescenzi last Wednesday for dinner as a group of 7 and we all enjoyed it very much. Nice friendly atmosphere, great food and good service. Would go back.

I'm Italian, so I'm hard on Italian restaurants. However, I have been in many better. In fact, this was just average. The service was also uninspired. I'm not sure why. We ordered a good wine and plenty of food. It just seemed like the waiter was not happy to be serving us.

This was our 3rd visit at D+C. The staff are lovely and very helpful and accommodating. The mixed platter starter and bruschetta starter were good and we enjoyed those, but after this the food was just average. I should have known better than to go for steak, but I did and it disappointing - too dry and lacked any flavour.... More

We were lucky to get a table even during the week in this cozy, bustling restaurant. Our servers primarily spoke Italian which transported me to another country. Food was excellent, service great, and walking distance to our accommodation. We started with antipasto, with grilled vegetables, meats, cheese. I had the black said ink pasta with mussels, shrimp, and calamari. My... More

Simply put: Amazing food, good wine and very professional yet friendly service. We finally tried this place as we did hear a lot of good things about it. I must say that it exceeded or expectation. Definitely worth a visit.

Great discovery we had sud ink pasta with the freshest of fish and amazing fillet of beef. We decided to have breakfast the next morning. Scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and wonderful Italian coffee. We liked the option of wholemeal and gluten free bread. Serviced excellent, staff all seemed Italian they even remembered us from the previous evening!

When we go to Europe, we always try to go to at least one Italian restaurant because we figure it's closer to the "old country" than the USA (lol!). When planning our stay in Dublin, we found Dunne and Crescezi. Given that we are an Italian/Irish (heritage) couple ourselves, we thought this looked perfect and made an online reservation before...
