Just a quick tip - in my experience the wine cellar is far superior to the restaurant upstairs. Great food, great service, great wines, great value, great atmosphere. The restaurant is a bit "so-so". The wine cellar is much more casual, so don't expect the full restaurant experience. If you are looking for somewhere to go for lite bites and... more

Great spot for lazy lunches or a drink with tasty nibbles. Very atmospheric, the tables and chairs are set amongst the wine store's wares and all bottles on display are available for purchase for a small corkage fee. Very friendly and attentive wait-staff who are obliging to patrons bringing down selections from the deli upstairs at lunchtime. I have been... more

Recently went for dinner in the Fallon& Byrne restaurant and could not fault it. Quality of food was amazing, service was excellent and the selection of wine was impressive. Perfect for a romantic meal for two before going to the theatre. more

I am usually fairly generous in my reviews, and was really looking forware to F&B's for several reasons. One of the reasons is that I saw their chef online on an episode of Ireland AM, advertising the promotional Dining in Dublin event that just wrapped up this past Monday in that area. My husband and I also explored the area... more

My foodie partner and I were hesitant - it was our last night in Dublin and the thought of eating over a food store gave us pause. But we had a Great meal - I ordered the chicken dish (an uncommon order for me) was delectable and moist. The fish dish was also very good. I had the onion soup... more

I have eaten here on a number of occasions but not for weekend lunch in a good while and i have to say the new menu was very disappointing - burgers, cod, chicken? where was all the fab food that was being sold downstairs?? Service was pretty poor - drinks had to be requested twice - no-one seemed to be... more

Although I've eaten in the restaurant, and it's quite good, I want to review the sandwich bar in the shop here - it's some of the best takeaway food in Dublin. Any time I can, I grab a sandwich for the train trip back home, and I have never regretted it. Their walnut and brie sandwich is not to be... more

We love to try new places to eat when we are on vacation and after about 3 different pub meals of Irish Stew and bangers and mash it was time to try something new....this restaurant is just excellent. We had great service, the menu was unique and had some great dishes. Our entrees were delicious. My husband had a fillet... more

Like a smaller version of Dean and DeLuca. Displays are beautiful and the prepared food is fabulous -- we wound up going there several times on our 10-day trip. more
