Went to Cruzzo recently for a family birthday celebration and could not believe how bad it was. I had been there a couple of years previously and thought it was adequate, if a lot more about style than substance, but this was several notches lower. We were only informed some of the items on the already limited menu were unavailable... More

I have eaten a few times in Cruzzo's in Malahide. The food is quite good, but the menu is a bit old fashioned, with starter choices such as prawn cocktail, soup or terrine. I had the prawn cocktail and whereas the prawns looked lovely and big, they were pretty tough and chewy. My main course of Turkey Wellington was a... More

Had a really lovely lunch in Cruzzos today. Service was good...maybe the staff could be a little bit warmer. Food was delicious and the Cappuchino at the end was perfect. Would go again.

So, here's the thing. We all know Cruzzo's, right? It's the place that should have been the best the best restaurant in Dublin. Its cavernous, approx 15,000 sq feet on two floors, a highly stylised modern gastrotemple. Picture it, 15 to 20 foot, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Malahide Marina with it's boats and fashionistas. In short, from an... More

Ok, maybe eating at Cruzzo's after having just come from France & Italy (two major food countries) is already setting the place up for failure. But... The mystery foam appearing on my plate bore no resemblance to 'goat cheese' as described on the menu. The wine was simply not palatable. The entree was eerily similar to a Hungry Man Dinner... More

We had our xmas party in Cruzzos and I will never be going back. Our table was booked for 9.30, we were seated for 10.30, and when our main course did arrive at 11.30, 6 of the meals at our table were freezing cold. when we mentioned this to staff, the meals were taken back to the kitchen and literally... Had a lovely trip to the Dublin area and Cruzzo was recommended to me by a friend who lives locally. They regularly travel out to malahide from Dublin centre on the Dart [excellent train service]. I fancied seafood, partner fancied steak and we both had an amazing dining experience. Proper waiter service, nice atmosphere and views out over the marina.... More
