We went to this place with a little hesitation because of some of the reviews we read. However I assure you if you like good food this is the place to go. The French female servers had difficulty understanding what we were saying but this didn't bother us. They were all very friendly as well as the young man who... More

My daughter and I had lunch at La Mere Zou on 18th February. It had been about three years since I had been there. Nothing had changed - it was as good as ever. The welcome was warm and made us feel special. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was as good as you'll get - rustic French.... More

Went to my favorite restaurant on Saturday evening with friends. As always had a fantastic meal, fabulous cheese to follow and great wine. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Every table was full, lovely atmosphere. Would not have a bad thing to say about our experiences in La Mere Zou. Always a treat, cant wait for next time.

Had a business lunch here with a client at his request. This place is very small and generally doent appeal to me. Service was good as you would expect when the restaurant is not busy. I had mussels and frites as a main and was very happy with it. Generally though this place is dear, pokey and has very little... More

Passing through Dublin on feb 14th we took the precaution of booking well in advance. They were running a special menu for the night but with plenty of choices. Particularly liked the John Dory with braised vegetables. The restaurant was busy but the staff were attentive and welcoming. Not cheap but well worth a visit.

Anyone who likes genuine, hearty french cuisine will love this restaurant. This was our second visit and we went for he early bird as we were going out for the evening.
