Have visited this restaurant many times over the years when on holiday in Dublin. The restaurant is a delight to visit. Recently on a two day trip we enjoyed excellent lunches on both days. We enjoyed the starters, ,and the steak was cooked exactly as requested. The creme brulee was a sheer delight. We will return, frequently to a restaurant that... More

This place serves what is possibly the best chicken I ever had. The starter and the dessert were amazing too. Good wine selection. Only problem were the staff that had mixed up one of the orders, this is unacceptable for a restaurant of this standing. So 4 stars instead of 5, but definitely must go to place if you want... More

the scallops were overcooked and all dry, the beef likewise, needed to return to kitchen, got replaced and a bit better. So much noise about this "good, French restaurant" - what a disappointment. Will not go again.

This was my second visit to La Mere Zou and both were excellent. excellent food, wonderful ambience and first class service. The atmosphere is relaxed, the menu imaginative and the wine list offers a good selection. I can't wait to go back.

Went to try la mere Zou as part of the dine in Dublin week, €30 for 3 courses was a very good price for this restaurant. Razor clam starter, gratin dauphinoise and chocolate desert were very good. I think there should have been a choice for vegetarians even just for starter, they had a French onion soup on as a... More

A little jewel I visited La Mere Zou with friends on a Saturday night to celebrate a 50th birthday of one of us, and I have to be honest I was very presently surprised by what I found. The restaurant its self is situated in a basement at the entrance is the only toilets which are a little cramped, but... More

We visited this La Mere Zou by reservation for their early bird option. The restaurant was not too busy and we were allocated a nice table in what is a very cosy little French restaurant. The service was excellent and the menu options were explained well by the knowledgeable staff. The early bird option was a 3-course menu, perhaps a... More

Went to this restaurant with my daughter, her boyfriend and his friend last Saturday at lunchtime. I absolutely loved the ambiance, the food and the service was excellent. A lunch for twenty euros in this prime location I honestly think is superb! A great place to lunch!

Delicious food & excellent service. Had the 3 course set menu and able to supplement with the specials for some courses. Service was quick and food very tasty, particularly the prawn starter. Restaurant is cosy inside and staff very attentive would recommend.
